Mraz Brewing Company Brewery • $$
2222 Francisco Dr #510, El Dorado Hills

“Great neighborhood brewery tucked in the corner at Green Valley and Francisco Boulevards. Inside is cozy with high tables, a few TVs and snacks. Large patio outside with patio and picnic tables. This place is consistently good. They have a great selection of beers on tap including ales, lagers, sours and also usually carry at least one seltzer and kombucha. On the weekends they have live music events and food trucks, although there are quite a few restaurants nearby for takeout that you can bring in food to eat.“

Mindscape Fermentations Brewery • $$
5424 Crossings Dr Suite 105, Rocklin - 10.24 miles

“Grabbed a seat at the bar with a couple of friends and Lauren, who was absolutely awesome, helped us out. She took us through a flight of their drink offerings and gave us food suggestions. She really understands taste. Some of the drinks (hard kombucha, seltzers, sours) might be a little experimental by conventional standards, but the quality was all around excellent, and we left feeling both light and satisfied.“

Camerado Brewing Company Brewery •
Behind Nina's Taqueria, 2650 Cameron Park Dr #370, Cameron Park - 4.74 miles

“This place is everything you want in a neighborhood brewery! First and foremost, Dan and Kate quickly become family to the locals. Their passion and love for the environment they create (not to mention the incredible beer selection!!!) makes you want to “shop local”. Highly highly highly recommend!“

GB Brew Co Brewery •
8601 Auburn Folsom Rd, Granite Bay - 6.12 miles

“My husband and I stopped by on St. Patty's Day (for the Lobster Truck) - I'm typically not much of a beer drinker but I think GB Brew may have just changed that. I seriously fell in love with the Sour Seduction. The other brews I had were very tasty but the Sour Seduction definitely was my #1 and we even brought some home for another day. The atmosphere was very family oriented and the bartenders were knowledgeable and friendly. I will definitely be picking up more beer for our stay-cation and just to have on hand. We were also super shocked on just how affordable the beers were, an awesome added bonus! ??“

Red Bus Brewing Company Brewery • $
802 Reading St UNIT A, Folsom - 5.17 miles

“This was my second visit. The place is very casual and strictly a brew pub. The only food available was from a third party. It's pizza on Monday. I tried both of their stouts. The lightweight at 4.8% and the 90 weight at 12%. I prefer the 90 weight but that's just me. Both beers were quite drinkable. I came down to visit with friends. The front room was about 2/3 full, but still quiet enough to have a good conversation. There is plenty of parking and the staff is quite friendly.“

Brewmeister Brewery • $$
805 Reading St Ste B, Folsom - 5.13 miles

“I’ve been going to Brewmeister since way back soon after Erik took over the little shop in downtown Folsom. He’s always been very accommodating and helpful with his product and brewing knowledge. Now that he has three great shop locations, and the very cool Red Bus Brewery, it’s even more fun to go there! Very worthwhile to make the trek from out here in the boonies to his Folsom or West Sac store.“

“This place screams delicious food.I came here for Valentines day after seeing a segment on the news and I definitely made one of my best life choices. The food was unique I chose my wife's plate as well as mine you had two choices. I chose the one with a fluffy bread like shell for a taco stuffed with meat and sauce and vegetables. It also came with a beet salad and I have to say it was one of the best things I have tasted and I don't Carr for the dirt tasting vegetable, but it was well prepared with sauce and spice yum. It also came with a bowl of Ramen with porkbelly meat and the soup flavor was so so so good.,but wait there's more it also came with a desert of your choice my wife chose the ice cream ball it was a generous scoop of vanilla ice cream inside a chocolate brownie..yum I got the donutholes stuffed with tiramisu the espresso and ittalian custard had such flavor yum...While eating we also purchased 4 beers 2 ciders and 2 of there in house made beer..I will definitely be coming back. Outside they had a huge pond with fish and plenty of seating and parking.. The ambiance was top notch. I heard there homemade pasta and pizza are the best in state so I will be going back very soon..Homemade beer and Pizza yes please“

“The beers are really good, the service is always good, the walk up line at the bar should be the standard everywhere, no awkwardly trying to find a place to fit in and order a beer, did I mention the beers are really good, they also have BBQ out front sometimes which is really good, definitely recommend!“

“Would probably give this place a 4.5/5 if we could, but half stars aren’t allowed. A very unique place with nothing similar to it in the area. Have been a few times in the past and there’s a lot of hit or miss on food/beverage, though this time it was overall very good. Service is a 5/5, there are an absolute TON of employees and they are amazing at what they do.. one never feels without service. Atmosphere is upscale country barnyard, and we thoroughly enjoyed the accommodations for large groups.Peach nectarine hard cider 5/5Outrigger beer 3.5/5Chicken sando 4/5 (fries wayyyy too salty)Caesar salad 4.5/5Chicken tenders 3.5/5 (could be crispier)Berry cobbler 5/5Rotating beverage menu, semi-permanent food menu from what we can tell. “I specifically dropped in over the weekend for the prime rib special. I was hankering for prime rib. I know… BJs ain’t a steakhouse. So how good is the prime rib? Well, it was not bad at all. It was tasty with simple, classic flavors. It wasn’t amazing, earth shattering delicious nor awful.BJ only offers prime rib on Fridays and Saturdays after 4 pm and all day on Sunday. For $35, you get a 15 oz cut with soup or salad, two sides and a pizookie. I ordered the meat cooked medium rare with a green salad and sides of a baked potato and pencil asparagus. The green salad was a larger than expected serving size. It looked and tasted fresh. The meat came out cooked a perfect medium rare. It was super tender. Simple, tasty classic flavors. Keeping it old school and simple. The au jus and creamy horseradish could have been jazzed up a bit more as well. I had to remind myself to save room for dessert. I ordered the brownie sundae pizookie. Warm brownie pizookie topped with vanilla ice cream and whipped cream. Mmm. It was gorgeous. Decadently delicious… sugar overload! That brownie was darn good.Hubs had a mini pepperoni pizza. It was pan baked, giving it a buttery flaky crust. He enjoyed it. But complained about the size and price. It was kids size (not from the kids menu) and was priced close to $16.Our server was Lucas, he was an outstanding server. Great attitude and very on point. He was training another server, Jordan. They both were great. But overall, the restaurant was understaffed and unable to seat everyone right away even though there was ample seating. So that’s great that they are training more staff.“
