Back in December, my family was dining there when the owner came over and shared his story behind Riley’s, a tribute to a beloved Labrador who changed his life. “Our first time at Yuki and I was honestly impressed. We came in 45min before closing for a last minute dinner. Instead of driving down the hill to the bigger name sushi restaurant we thought we would give Yuki a try and the staff greeted us with open arms. The sushi was tasty, the prices were great, the waitress was friendly and we will be coming back. Hopefully a lot earlier than right before they close.“

Salads are huge and taste fantastic. I have a kid that would get the hot Bobbie every day if they could, she loves thanksgiving and this brings her joy. And if I am being honest I could probably eat at capriottis every day also. “The pizza is pretty good. Better than the majority these days. Atmosphere is a hole in the wall local neighborhood favorite. Prices are a bit high so I'd expect more from the pizza but I can't honestly give it a 4 as it's a solid 4.5. Service was great and welcoming. The pizza balls were delicious. Don't eat them cold as they taste like bread instead of pizza dough. If I can eat a cold pizza the next day, then it's somewhere I'll come back. The pizza was good the next day but the pizza balls weren't good like they were when they were hot. Overall a good pizza and I'll probably be back.“

However, the gentleman who works at the front counter and the woman who sat us didn't seem like they were having a good evening. No, hello or how are you even after I asked them how they were doing. It almost made you feel as if you were a nuisance/annoyed they had to deal with speaking to you therefore it didn't feel welcoming at all. We were seated quickly as it was around 7pm on a Saturday and not overly busy.

Our server changed that non welcoming feeling. She immediately greeted us with a smile and was very friendly and helpful. I really wish I remembered her name but I hadn't planned on leaving a review until I got a yelp notification asking me to do so.

We will definitely be back because of the service she provided and all 3 of us in our party enjoyed our food. If the food hadn't been good and our server had been like the first two employees, we wouldn't be open to dining here again, so both of those things saved our experience.

“I love this place and after eating there actually looked up to see if I could buy stock...because I think it's that good. The menu is unique and the food is fresh tasting. The managers and staff are above and beyond in terms of customer service. I have an autoimmune issue and have to eat gluten free, dairy free and try to avoid certain cooking oils. It's such a hassle and I avoid eating out as it's embarrassing (I hate having to ask all sorts of questions and have my meal made custom- to leave out ingredients). Anyway, every time I have been here they have been super accommodating. The managers are superb and the staff is friendly. I tried a different location last time I was in the city and found that experience the same. I hope this place catches on and expands as I'd love to have it as an option in more locations.“

Location: My experience with Mendocino Farms has been the midtown location and one of the places that we always see to get sandwiches to go. Great to see one not that far from Palladio and just off the freeway into the foothills. Lots of parking around the area and just off Bidwell.

Service: Staff was friendly and attentive. They have QR codes at the tables so that the servers know where to bring your food.

Vibe: Nice clean location with lots of seating inside and outside of the location. Bright colors and airy.

Food: I decided to go a little adventurous with my food this time and tried out the Veggie Banh Mi. I've been trying to go with something that sounded more healthy. The sandwich was surprisingly good. Nice toasted bun and the Tofu was well prepared. The pickled veggies tasted great. Overall a great sandwich!

“So last night I was on doordash looking for restaurants in Folsom that were open and sounded good. I don't actually use doordash other than for inspiration and to see pictures/reviews. I noticed that there was a calzone place that was supposedly close by to where I live. This was strange to me as I didn't know there was a calzone place. It turns out, the pizza guys sell calzones through doordash but there is nothing on the website or in the store, that I noticed, so I asked in person if I could order one directly from them. They said yes! Look on doordash for the different flavors, but I got the Santa Cruz, which was like a Hawaiian pizza calzone. It came out hot and it was SO delicious! They are hiding these from you, so go get you one! You just need to ask.“

The best way to get there is to park in the parking garage and then walk to the main entrance at the path closest to Bradshaw. The staff is always friendly.“

What really made the visit shine was how attentive Connor was afterward. He checked on us multiple times, was incredibly kind, and even handed out gummy candy to young kids while wishing everyone a Merry Christmas — something we noticed he did with every customer. We also overheard him coaching the cashier, reminding her to always confirm orders before payment, which showed great leadership.

The food was very tasty, and Connor completely turned a mistake into a memorable experience. We’ll definitely be back.“

Beautiful wrapped up in a bag but no napkins. Girl those sandwiches are so stuffed, no napkins is a problem!

I work at the UPS store and they provided us with TWO catering trays AND two hundred coupons to put in our grab bags for our grand re opening. So kind. Not to mention I used to work at mr pickles and the sandwiches are yummy and they cut all the meat, cheese, and veggies daily. I personally think that habit Burger is a few steps above most other burger restaurants.
