“They used to be New Wok on Peck Rd next to the dealership in the shopping center! They are the best Wok in El Monte! I almost cried after eating their food. We tried other Woks from 5 different cities, NONE of them compare! Have been a customer since I was a kid! So happy they are reopen! It’s our first visit to their new location.
Their rice in this visit was a bit too salty and taste slightly different too. But, their signature chow mein is SO good! No other place compares! Their egg roles are also delicious too! Their food quantity is just as big too! You really get your bang for your buck:
2 combo is like $10-$11 and the 3 combo is $12.49ish.
They used to have vegetarian/pescatarian options, but not anymore. I hope they have more veggie and seafood options!“

“First time coming here. Buddy of mine recommended the cowboy fries with chicken. They are SPICY.. I ordered a side of beans to try it with and without.. Goes pretty good together. They have a huge menu.. You can choose your meat for the fries as well. Definitely going to be back.“

“Good food. I usually get the grilled chicken sandwhich. Verry fullfilling and the meal comes with a good portion of fries and onion rings. If you are doing drive thru or to-go orders, double check your order before leaving. A couple of times they left something out but they are always good about making sure you get it. Great customer service.

“If you ever in the neighborhood and want to grab a quick special discount tacos, make sure you download the Del Taco app first, I have to learn the hard way tonight, cause they will need you download the app first and scan the QR code before you can get the 69 cents taco! You will need registered before you can order in store or in app! So you been warned! Other than that the food is about the same, taco got smaller, but price is not bad!“

“I've been ordering food from China express for the past 2 years. I'm satisfied all the time. I usually order through uber eats since it's the only way I can get my salt n pepper shrimp lol. It's because when I go in person and ask for it, I get told they don't have that but whenever I order through uber I always get it and it's delicious. (I promise it's the correct restaurant). Either way, the chow mein is great. Fried rice is great too. Not mushy, not dry, perfectly cooked and not overly greasy. Their broccoli beef, spicy fried chicken, and omg the orange chicken. Their orange chicken has a perfect taste and I love that even though it's nicely coated with the sweet glaze, the chicken still maintains it's crunch. (I have a problem with soggy mushy orange chicken from other places). Plus, I always know, that I will always have seconds to for dinner or take for lunch the next day. Plus, it's not overly pricey.“
