“Best Indian Food I've had in Los Angeles at any price point, not one question about it. We thought we'd "give it a try" after our other dinner plans fell through and it's the greatest find we've made in years. A truly unforgettable experience, the food feels like a more authentic take on the americanized Indian cuisine you'll find at most other spots. The amount of flavor packed into each bite is impressive to say the least. The service is top notch, I assume it's a family business as it's rare to see this level of passion and care elsewhere. Simply, run don't walk, or open that app stat, you will not be disappointed!“

“Friendly people, came in to buy food to prepare for a late-night studying session. This was my first time trying HurryCurry despite living so close around the neighborhood. Very delicious food, plan to come back soon and try other food selections!“

“I love this place. Service and food are great. Ravi used to live in England so I think that makes his food the closest to "back home" for me. Chicken Tikka Masala is so creamy.“

“This is the second time I have ordered from this restaurant, and the Vizayawada biryani is absolutely delicious. You won't find another place in Los Angeles that serves biryani with such an authentic and flavorful taste. My suggestion would be to make the biryani spicier and add a bit more sauce for an even richer flavor.“

“Utsav Indian Cuisine is hands down the best Indian food restaurant in the South Bay. Just real authentic food without all the pretense of some of the beach city places that supposedly sell "Indian" food. The lunch buffet is reasonably priced and always well stocked and the wait staff are very pleasant and attentive to all our needs.“

“Indians right on the way to the pier with nice outdoor seating. Map clear, service friendly and attentive. It was a little cooler in the evening and we had our own heater at the table. Cocktails ? well mixed and round off an evening on site. The food was well seasoned and the size was appropriate for the price/performance ratio. We always find a place and there is always a place to sit for a longer time - check only when asked and not, as is often the case, directly at the table - so this is particularly pleasant for European guests... Parking at the pier is subject to a charge depending on time/day $5-20
Parking: 3min walk from the pier/parking lot. Fees apply. On public holidays it can be crowded in the evenings but never a problem during the week“

“Truly exceptional. Unexpectedly, my favorite Indian restaurant in LA. The level of cooking is without rival. Their Korma gravy is mind-blowing: deep, layered, complicated and unmatched. They used to include handwritten, poetic quotes on index cards in their takeout bags, a nice footnote they've since stopped but demonstrative of quality, fineness, and attention to detail.“

“I am absolutely delighted with my experience at Angara Indian Restaurant! The menu is a love letter to Indian cuisine, with a wide variety of traditional dishes to suit every palate. I started off with the Shrimp Tandoori and Mint Paneer Tikka, both of which were outstanding. The shrimp was perfectly marinated and grilled to perfection, while the paneer tikka was creamy and flavorful with just the right hint of mint. For my main course, I tried the Lamb Tikka Masala and Navratan Korma. The lamb tikka masala was rich and creamy, with tender lamb pieces cooked to perfection in a flavorful tomato sauce. The Navratan Korma was a delightful surprise, with a delicious mix of vegetables, nuts, and dried fruits in a creamy sauce. The service was also top-notch, with friendly staff happy to answer questions and make recommendations. The prices were very reasonable, especially considering the generous portion sizes. Overall, I'm so impressed with Angara Indian Restaurant that I've already recommended it to friends and family. If you're a fan of Indian cuisine or just looking to try something new, this is a must-visit and one of the best Indian restaurant in Torrance, California.“

“I’ve looked Tikka Masala ever since I was a kid and eating at this place has just made my love for the food even better. I tried the Panner Tikka Masala with naan and I was happy with the food. It was fresh and hot! The naan was also hot and freshly cooked which made the meal completely better. I also ordered Shrimp Tikka which is something completely new to me and I loved it. It tastes like a kebab and very crispy. Great Customer Service! Lots of dishes to try from the menu. Check it out!“

“The food is here is so good, one of the best Indian restaurants I have ever eaten at. Definitely Top 3 for me, and it’s an authentic, modest mom-and-pop restaurant. Every time I go, they are so kind and sweet. Will do my best to support them as small business owners in the neighborhood.“
“Indian spot located on the 2nd level off of Wilshire. When I typed the name in, Google maps took me to the one on Westwood, so make sure you’re putting in the right address if you’re intending to go here. Very limited street parking. Credit cards accepted. They do take reservations but when we went on a Thursday evening at 8pm, it wasn’t necessary. Masks required and they do check proof of vaccination, although they wanted a picture of the card and didn’t accept my digital CA QR code. Food is family style; the tandoori mix grill was a good way to get a variety of meats/seafood. The butter chicken was tasty. The peas pulao was a good complement to that sauce, though I preferred the garlic naan. They do serve alcohol. It’s good for big groups and they had a TV playing music videos inside. They were open fairly late on a weeknight, so it’s a good spot to get some food if you’re in the Brentwood area and get hungry, but don’t have a reservation anywhere.“

“I highly recommend Plate50LA. The food is delicious and of good quality. They remind me of the original Sri Lankan taste. We took food as a takeaway; the food packaging was also perfect.“
“We were a group of 2, ordered lamb and chicken biryani. Both were very delicious (a bit too spicy though we requested mild). Rice needed to be a bit drier than what was served, were told that it is how it's made in Northern India, it was so good, but wanted it to be drier :)“
