Subway, a sandwich chain with multiple locations in Amador County and Elk Grove, has received mixed reviews. One location, in Ione, was criticized for a lackluster pastrami sandwich and poor portion sizes. The reviewer mentioned that they have not returned since, and recommended the deli at Little Town Market as an alternative. However, the Elk Grove locations received high praise, with specific mention of the friendly and attentive service from managers Elijah and Rebecca. The sandwiches were noted for their quality and generous portions, and the locations were described as consistently clean with fast service. The Elk Grove Subways were highly recommended for their meatball sandwiches and overall dining experience.
