“I’ve been eating at S.J Taqueria for 2 years now and I have to say that I really enjoy their food. When it comes to their shrimp quesadillas/burritos/tacos and their delicious asada fries I can’t imagine going somewhere else. You can taste that their food is freshly made. Especially when it comes to shrimp. They are fast, friendly, and easy to talk to. This is a must-visit to eat fresh and good.
10/10 recommend.“

“Ordered Pad Kapao. Lady was friendly taking my order. Took about 10 minutes. Food was fresh and still hot when I got home. Food was fragrant and really good. Got a side of Sriracha and chili paste which was spicy so that was a plus. Very enjoyable experience. Will be returning. I didn't eat a small amount before taking my picture but the portions were good for the price. Limited seating so I would do Togo. If you have to eat there, there was two chairs and a small table. Location is at a Chevron gas station so convenient if you want to order, gas up and pick up the food.“

“They're super burritos were delicious! We stopped by on our way back from a day at the lake and it definitely hit the spot! They're SALSAS were were a 10 out of 10 and the food was fresh and flavored well!! Prices were great food was great and so was the customer service! I definitely recommend trying Carmelitas out!“

“Overall an amazing place. JP is very kind and definitely passionate of his work. The pretzel dough is soft and chewy, the dipping sauces are all great (my favorite is the marinara), and the lemonade is perfectly sweet and tart. Highly recommend and will eat again!“

“The quality took me back 10+ years. I have not tasted this legitimate quality of burrito and tacos in over a decade. Between the Bay Area, the Southern part of the Central Valley to the Modesto area. It's been over 10 years, and the best Burrito still REMAINS on 8th Street!
The burrito flavor sent chills down my spine, anchoring me to past memories to when quality was worth your money. Customer service I received was also top tier with positive, helpful, and cheerful attitude.
Stopped by in the morning which typically has some homeless strolling around which was typical years ago and apparently seems to have not changed. I'll have to return at night to see if the vibe is still there.
Really enjoyed coming back to this taco truck. Prices are definitely reasonable and when accompanied with my favorite part, coming here is non-negotiable for my family moving forward, even if it takes us driving across town.“

“Have been going here for the last 8 or 9 years back when they were in woodville. Now I drive 30 mins just to get their delicious food. Have tried numerous taco spots around the valley and without a doubt they have the best food. Have yet to find a better place for an asada burrito a their salsa is the best!“

“I stopped in because of ratings, and I'm glad i did. Ordered burrito supreme before "lunch time", no hesitation they made my order. So thankful. The burrito was perfect, grilled sealed and didn't fall apart. The ingredients were evenly throughout the burrito, wasn't one bite of all meat or all beans. Both salsas have complete flavor. Thank you! Also, the store has a very clean and organized appearance 👌“

“I've been wanting to try this place because I kept seeing the billboard on the freeway! Decided to stop today and try it out.....let me tell you....BEST CUPCAKES AND ICED COFFEE!! I got the Caramel Iced Coffee with a Strawberry Cupcake on top and it was so delicious. The cupcake wasn't too sweet, it was perfect. Light, fluffy, moist, and the frosting was whipped cream. As for the coffee, I love that they asked me how I prefer my coffee....if I like it strong or sweet. It was soooooo good. Def 10/10. I will def be making this as part of my pit stop when I come to this area.“

Only thing is flys hanging around. Maybe they can do something bout that idk.

“Love their pupusas. They are perfect, flavorful and delicious, they are very generous with the filling so you know you aren’t just getting the masa. $4 for one pupusa is a great deal. My favorite is the chicharrón con queso. I always get mine to go. Make sure to order ahead on the phone so you don’t have to wait for them to cook.“

“My daughter and I tried this place on Valentine’s Day and let me tell you they have some of the best tacos I’ve ever had!!! the queso birria tacos were absolutely delicious perfect size and portion. My daughter had the taki tacos and those were super good also!!! We are definitely going back soon!! Excellent, very friendly service, I recommend it!“

“I went here because we drove by and I haven’t been to this flea market in a while. Walked around. Grabbed a churro and was hungry. Stumbled upon this place and I’m glad I did. I ordered a Gordita with asada and my wife ordered 2 tacos. Handmade tortillas and I tried 4 difference salsas. So good. So nice and warm and FRESH! This has to be my new favorite taco truck in Modesto flea market for sure! Thanks Martin and familia! Next time I’ll try the machete. The huge quesadilla! 10/10“
“My go to food truck when I’m in Modesto. Staff is always friendly, food is consistent and there is always parking. Prices are also good, especially when compared to the Bay Area. There are two benches to sit at, but not a lot of shade. Definitely recommend overall.“

“My favorite taco truck in town. Constantly every time. 5/5!! I get 3 Al Pastor tacos and it's just the right level of spice and feel good taste that you'd want on a taco. Only downside is other people are learning about it and it can get busy, but I'd happily wait for their food and I can see everyone one will happily wait for theirs too.“

“We used Rollin Smoke for our wedding and it was delicious. Everything arrived on time and was set up perfectly. They set up everything and made it so easy. People are still talking to us and telling us about the beans and how delicious it all was. We had pulled pork, brisket, beans, and Mac n chz. All of which was delicious. Most definitely recommend this company for any and all catering needs! We will be using them in the future for sure!“

“After living in Mexico for 17 years and now living back here in the valley, we have searched for tacos that have that authentic taste we were looking for. Casa Cuevas is the best we have found!! Their tacos are fresh...handmade tortillas....excellent salsas. I wish I could eat there every day.🤗“
