Finally found me my Go-To pupusa place in Modesto!! I had been looking for one since moving from the Bay Area.This place DID NOT disappoint!I ordered pupusas de revuelta, and one of frijoles, also ordered an horchata. Everything was DELICIOUS!! 10/10! I was upset I did not order more!I came in the evening around 6, not sure I want to be in the area at night. I ordered to go and the they were fast and friendly!I will definitely be back for takeout !

If you've never experienced the delight of pupusas, I strongly urge you to visit Pupuseria Garcia. Prepare to be pleasantly surprised. I have kept this hidden gem a secret, shamefully. But Pupuseria Garcia is to good not to share. I've cherished this spot privately for too long, but now I'm eager to spread the word on Yelp. It's 5 stars.

As a salvadoreña who recently moved to the states & have tried different “intents of pupusas” let me tell you this place is like going to a real Salvadoran pupuseria. They use the right ingredients cheese, beans & loroco. this food is made with loveI love this place it feels like home. ?I love the vibe and the plants too
