I love EverBowl. I've been a handful of times within the last 2-3 weeks, so when this happened I was bummed and felt bad but Anaya was awesome and definitely went above and beyond!“

“I visited Nectar at the Encinitas location in San Diego during my vacation, and it was a fantastic experience. My relatives suggested I try the Dragon Fruit Bowl, and it was absolutely yummy—so refreshing and delicious!

“The bases don’t have any flavor. I tried the acai, pitaya, and the blue one. Despite being visually different, they all tasted like nothing. It was weird. Maybe they use less sugar. The main redeeming factor is the amount of toppings and customization you can have, if you pick a whatever bowl. The price seems pretty reasonable, and the interior of the store is clean and nicely decorated. The toilet is gross though, and it needs to be deep cleaned.“

“I have reviews of several different açai providers, it’s a regular family treat for us. This location had good, but not jaw-dropping açai, prices were somewhere between normal and slightly high, service was good for a takeout-only location, but the takeout only location left a lot to be desired. It’s in kind of a trendy Industrial park that’s being converted to shops and restaurants, but no seating and a weird location mean that I probably won’t be back.“

This is the kind of place that makes you forget you’re eating ‘healthy’ because it just tastes great. Definitely coming back.“

“This spot is definitely gorgeous for a coffee break. Awesome view and clearly a local student/staff favorite. They grilled our egg salad sandwich in the panini maker and the iced matcha latte was delicious. The crew here helpful And warm. Also very quick. I only wish there was more “bar style” seating for those who tend to linger for hours on their own instead of taking up a whole table. It’s been super crowded with no seating the last few months bc people tend to stay for hours working. Which I totally understand. But for a UCSD alum like me, I may just wanna sit for half an hour maybe an hour at most and often there is no seating. That’s my only suggestion. Add single person searing. But I’ll definitely be back and hope to come before a “rush”. The line can get very long. (I get it. I used to work in a cafe at the Price Center and it was crazy there). Also would Love if they stayed open later. One can only hope.“

Listen, I came to Carlsbad Village for the beach, but I’m pretty sure I’ve been permanently converted into a human chia seed after discovering Choice Juicery.

Let me paint you a picture: You’re lounging on their artificial grass outdoor seating (yes, GRASS, because apparently sitting on regular furniture is so 2010), sunshine warming your face, sipping a cold-pressed juice that’s so organic it probably knows the name of the farmer who grew it. This is the Carlsbad Village experience I didn’t know I needed.

I ordered the Avatar smoothie bowl because I too want to connect with nature and look as good as a blue alien, and OH MY GOODNESS. The granola was crunchy, the fruit was fresh, and I suddenly understood why everyone in the reviews sounds like they’ve achieved enlightenment. One reviewer said they wanted to spend their morning with “a book, the beach, and a smoothie bowl” and honestly? Goals. That person gets it.

The staff has that “vibrant energy” everyone mentions – they’re not just making smoothies, they’re conducting a symphony of superfoods. They let me sample things. They returned my glass bottle for credit. They made me feel like I was making the best life choices, which I was, because I was literally at a place called CHOICE.
Is it weird that I’m emotionally attached to a juice bar? Maybe. Do I care? Absolutely not. The outdoor vibe is chef’s kiss perfection – prime people-watching in the heart of the village, fresh ocean breeze, and the knowledge that everything I’m consuming is organic, plant-based, and probably reversing my terrible life decisions from last weekend.

If you’re in Carlsbad and don’t stop here, are you even really living? The answer is no. Go forth and get your açaí bowl. Your body will thank you, your Instagram will thank you, and that little voice in your head that says “maybe just one more burger” will finally quiet down.
TL;DR: Come for the cold-pressed juice, stay for the outdoor bliss, leave feeling like a wellness influencer. 11/10 would juice again. 🥬🌞​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​“

“Adorable coffee shop right across the street from our hotel. Great energy and vibe, and the customer service is fantastic. The music was fun and the place felt lively. Everyone was friendly and helpful.

We ordered the Mexican mocha and it was delicious. I’m very picky about Mexican mochas and this was one of the best I’ve had.

We also tried the ham and cheese croissant, the avocado feta toast (no tomatoes for the picky eaters in our group), and the OG açaí bowl. Everything was fresh and tasty.

“sorry for last post my bf saw the roebeks sign (but not the unlit ryans sign) and went in the wrong door not knowing and then they had smoothies and bowls so he thought that was the right place. and he brought those wrong bowls home and I didn't want it neither did he and so I called and went in to swap it for the correct product and that's when i learned he was at the wrong place and that u guys r still great/the best . sorry for the misunderstanding 5stars“

“This place has the great yogurland flavors that you expect, but what stood out was the cleanliness and friendliness of the staff. The yogurt stations were well kept and all the toppings were fresh (including the nuts). You can tell that the owner/staff really care for the place. We look forward to visiting again!“

“Sambazon in Cardiff is awesome. They are quite frequently busy, but they are fast and worth waiting for. I have the PB Açaí bowl and it fills me up for the whole day. The people are super friendly and helpful. If you are in Encinitas be sure to go the extra few miles to Cardiff by the Sea.“
