“I had a lovely visit to Tea Monk in Carlsbad! The customer service was great .everyone was super friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better.
We ordered a mix of drinks including the taro milk tea (both hot and cold), plus some macaron ice cream. Everything was beautifully presented and enjoyable. The only small note: I had requested my hot drink to be less sweet, but it still came out a bit too sweet for my taste,and it was more warm than hot. Still, not a dealbreaker!
Overall, it’s a cute spot with great vibes and good drinks. I’d definitely come back to try more from the menu!“

“Kung Fu Tea is my favorite boba place. It is just unfortunate that they don't have a place in Oceanside. I have to drive to San Marcos.
I like their classic milk tea, and the balance of sweetness and creaminess was perfect. The boba added just the right amount of texture and sweetness, and I appreciated how it didn't lose its consistency in each sip. You can really taste the quality and freshness of the boba. The staff is friendly and efficient, making the experience even better. If you're a boba lover, Kung Fu Tea is a must-try! I highly recommend it!“

The lady was super friendly and helpful.

“The best matcha I’ve ever had is right here! Omomo Matcha is out of this world—no matter how many times I go, I always order it! Their signature drink is truly the best. Back when they were only in Irvine, I’d always bring three cups back to SD to enjoy slowly. Now that they’ve opened a shop right by my place, I can go on weekdays when the line is shorter. Too bad online ordering isn’t available yet, so you usually have to wait in line. Sweetness level at 30%-50% is perfect! Fellow matcha lovers, don’t miss this!“

“Absolutely Splendid! Stopped in for a small bite, and for $18 got enough to feed two people and then some. Nice staff, fast service, and well kept building.
Most definitely coming back here next time, particularly if I want cheap drinks - didn’t get them this time, but decent menu prices, much better than I would expect
Parking: Decent spots, but rapidly fill up - would recommend parking in the free lot by Le Papagayo or the Blue water grill and walking

“My order was wrong, so the young lady said she would remake it. She started to just dump some and use some of the original drink until she saw me watching, and then she remade it from scratch.
She then gave me a card good for a free drink, and I thought that was very nice until I realized that it had multiple footprints on the back. Now I'm just grossed out. 🤢“

“I come here almost every single day and the staff are wonderful they are the nicest people I know in this area and make every drink I ask for. The boba is fresh and amazing which goes perfect with all of there drinks they also have sandwiches which are fresh an awesome it’s the best boba place I’ve probably ever been to. Don’t listen to any bad reviews this place is amazing and I love it“

“Im actually annoyed that I didn't know about this place sooner. The food was great and a big portion. I didn't get a chance to snap a photo of the gyozas because I inhaled them as I was drying back to work. The thai boba drink was perfect. Like the terminator, I'll be back.“

“Don’t let the shack vibe fool you, this spot surprised me. The Vietnamese lettuce cups were fresh, crunchy, and perfect for a summer day (loved the pickled veggies, though I’d skip the peanuts next time). My wife’s bulgogi with rice was a little sweet but packed with flavor. Great beachside find, I’d definitely stop here again on the way to Solana Beach.“
“This place is so good. I wouldn't necessarily hang to work or study, but the drinks are the best. My favorite is the monster boba latte. It's an iced latte worth boba, then they drizzle brown sugar molasses down the sides. The windows are a bummer, you can hardly see out of them, but I'm a window cleaner so i notice these things.“
