“Frequent customer friends of mine called ahead to reserve a table for 3. I was very surprised when the manager comped our meals. The food would have been only a few dollars more than fast food , but it was far better as to exactly cooking to the asked for point of good grade Angus beef. Waiters were often checking our satisfaction and getting any items quickly. I was told by my friends that they had tipped deciently. I still slipped an additional decent tip to our waiter out of gratitude for good service.“

“Our dinner last night at IHOP was outstanding. I believe the difference was the service we received from Benjamin. We were greeted with friendliness and a smile as soon as we walked in the door and were seated promptly. Beverage order taken and filled quickly. All options and substitutions we addressed and accepted. The food was delicious, exactly how we wanted it, and served in a timely manner. Benjamin made sure our drinks were always full. He was really on top of everything during our meal making it a very smooth experience. We have gone to this IHOP many times over the years and typically the service is adequate. Unfortunately the previous time we had gone it was terrible. So much so that we addressed it with the manager another day. They offered to comp us a dinner, but that wasn't what we wanted, just better service. We decided to give them one last shot before writing them off. Last night was the complete opposite in the best way. Just service that went above and beyond any expectations. Benjamin really made all the difference and he is the reason will continue to go to this IHOP.“

“My brother and I had the most amazing night of superb jazz and food this past Sunday, entertained by Betty Bryant and ensemble. Her fingers moved like liquid gold on the keyboard and her compositions were witty and mesmerizing. The word that kept coming to mind as they performed was "subtle." The music was powerful, but so discrete as to be gentle and gentile. Woodwinds, Bass, and Drums - all played with the kind of delight that makes everyone love the performers as well as the music. As for food, one dish stood out particularly: the creamed spinach with blue cheese. Please tell Chef I would love that recipe! I'm back home in Tennessee now and plan to attempt to copy it, but having the authentic recipe to serve to friends when we entertain would be over the top! I came to visit Galpin Ford recently after visiting the nearby Sepulveda VA center to look at a pickup trucks for my elderly veteran friend's 5th wheel. Afterwards we were in the mood for a good old fashioned American breakfast and this place really hit the spot!

Pass the big American flag just east of the dealership where a cute sunny patio, counter seating, cozy booths and well spaced tables are all available and wheelchair accessible.

There's an early bird breakfast special which offers light breakfast for under ten dollars for early risers.

We ordered French toast with eggs, bacon and sausage. The French toast was drenched in eggy batter, the bacon was lean and crispy, the eggs were cooked to perfection.

Our server was friendly and service was fast. Everything was wonderful. I highly recommend this restaurant to you fellow world travelers.

Food quality very good, with exception of the pizza sauce, as suspect if common commercial source, being very acidic, which belies the intent of a true Italian staple of simplicity, albeit the dough was excellent, soft with a bit of crisp. Wine pairing with the Brie recommendation was on par. A very enjoyable lunch. Seating is atypical of style and not intended for comfort, but is recognized as their motif. Recommended? Yes, most definitely.“
