The chef gave my husband & I a loaded oyster & that was probably one of the Best oyster I've tried! I ended up getting miso soup, a poke bowl and a roll of something.. I can't remember. “I remember coming to the shop for sushi rice when I was pregnant. Whom had seemed to be the owner of the shop ending up being incredibly kind and accomplished. I felt welcome and I bought all of my poke bowls there ever since. Sadly I moved out of state and will miss their poke. Really kind, welcoming atmosphere, and good poke!“

“Easily an above-average poke shop. I wasn't even craving poke when I first discovered this spot, but I instantly walked in when I saw photos of the crispy onion topping. It's probably one of the more distinctive features compared some other locations I've visited. ***Caution*** - the smell is pungent... so maybe have a breath mint after? When you just look at the price, it seems a bit expensive, but the quantity is well worth it. I ordered a medium bowl and it was more than satiating. Found myself full with an awkward amount left, so I finished the entire plate. I was wrestling with food coma for the next few hours. Quality of each ingredient is pretty solid. I don't think I experienced anything bad while eating the food. The only reason I took off a star is due to the environment. The interior seems a bit run down and I would not want to eat inside there again. It seemed gloomy and not a place to stay. There also aren't too many seats inside which makes me think the manager wants people to take their food and go.“

“I'm a Poke Fanatic and this place blew my mind. Their OG Tuna and OG spicy Tuna is DELICIOUS! From the sauces, toppings, and garnishes...Everything was so fresh! Place was very well maintained and clean. The staff was friendly and had great customer service.“

“Love me some Pono Burger. Super cute, chill vibes, and delicious food. The staff here are very friendly and welcoming. Great menu selection and an even better happy hour menu! I usually do the garlic truffle fries to start - YUM! Beware: very addicting. For the main dish, i do the salmon burger. Soo good. Amazing flavor with quality ingredients. Their salmon patty is made in house and is topped with heirloom tomato and ponzu avocado spread. The first time i had it, i was hooked - i came back the next day! LOL.“

“Date: 1/26/24 Was craving Hawaiian food and didn't want to leave the house with the two babies so decided to grub hub some food. Looked through the list and just went with the first option because it looked good already. 1. BBQ Chicken, Beef & Katsu Combo (13.99$) - Saw it was only a dollar more for another protein so of course I had to get this one. The chicken was probably my favorite of the three. Very juicy and soft. Love that they don't shiest on the protein. My toddler loved the katsu and the bbq chicken! Beef was more on the chewy side so it was harder to eat for the kids but i enjoyed it. 2. BBQ Chicken & Short Ribs Combo (14.99$) - The short ribs were amazing!!! It went by so fast and I really wanted more. Again the BBQ Chicken was really good. Definitely recommend this combo! An amazing first experience not to mention so incredibly CHEAP!!! Can't wait to come back and try everything else!“

“This is a fast Chinese food spot food is not horrible but it's not the best. It is one of the better and cleaner looking Chinese food locations I've been to. The service is fast if you're gonna order from the pre made food there and the portions are huge for a good price. If you're gonna order off the menu i recommend ordering that first it will take a little bit longer to get that out. Inside looks a lot better looks like it's been painted and got new signs on the walls. Decent spot good service and fast food.“

“Came in again this weekend for the classic aloha bbq mix! It's my favorite on the menu. I love the meat variety and always forget they give so much! It could be easily shared or saved for a second meal. There's more meat under the chicken, and the rice and macaroni really seal the deal. I like that there is veggies under the meat because it packs more flavor in the greens and adds a nice balance to the meat. Food comes out quickly and just like before, the vibe is very relaxing and easygoing whether I come alone or with company :))“

Toppings are decent, but sauce options were limited. Overall I would recommend this place for a quick and easy bite. Parking in the back is also very convenient.“

“The chicken here is very delicious. The only bad thing is that there are 2 girls that when they are in the kitchen they don't add any chicken, I ask for extra paying extra and not even that. They should be fired. And a fatty who has a very ugly manner and is very filthy.“

“Id kill for some Spicy Crab Salad and Spicy Tuna. We stopped here last month to try their Poke bowls and sushi. I ordered us some Spicy Crab salad and spicy tuna, and it was beyond delicious. Burning my mouth a little bit, but nothing extreme lol. NIce spot here in the heart of Downtown Westwood. Nice staff and great people working here. I hope I have another chance to visit.“

“This poke spot is very unassuming and you'd never think twice about it. I've had a very good experience every time and honestly it's some of the freshest poke I've had. I've had it around 15-20x as of this review and it's never disappointed.The ingredients are super fresh and I've never had a bad experience here.I'll warn you that their spicy mayo is spicy! They also have really delicious pickles and great fresh crab (likely imitation? If so, I finally don't mind!) as well.The staff is also very friendly and kind.“

“My review is based on ordering this through a 3rd party delivery service, so I cannot comment on the customer service or the ambiance inside. We ordered 2 large poke bowls and they were both very tasty! All of the fish we had tasted very fresh, the sauces had great flavor, and the brown rice was cooked perfectly. I will definitely order from here again! My only complaint is that there's a charge for masago and imitation crab, whereas many other places I've been to include those.“

“The food is this place is simply something that you have to try if you're gonna eat in Northridge, I've never had better food ever can I get a spam musubi Hawaiian barbecue chicken musubi but then can I take off like the honey stuff yeah Northridge ever especially in the Hawaiian category of food ever I literally cannot explain how good this Hawaiian barbecue chicken taste, and the chicken Katsu combo I'm cream to this chicken right now. The macaroni salad is simply something to die for the chef need to be paid $10 million a year simply because of how much that they're pumping out with the quality of their food also the ingredients of this place is absolutely great. I hope that more people come to this unknown restaurant because it is kind of tucked away, but it is one of the best restaurants that you should definitely try if you're gonna, die because you only live once.“
