“Artelice is a great place for classic French pastries. I think their croissant flavors are interesting but the croissant dough itself is not as buttery or flaky as some other shops in town. Where Artelice shines is in their cakes and eclairs, so I would stick to ordering those. They always have fun, delicious seasonal items. I also appreciate that they always throw in a macaron or two with your order.“

“Dropped in on our way to Universal Studios to let traffic die down . Pleasantly surprised by this little gem . calm, caring & inviting staff + atmosphere. Food was spectacular!
My girls really enjoyed the matcha latte and avocado toast. The fresh bread spread they brought out for us to try with olives, olive oil feta, sweet cream butter and jam was a special treat! We took home a loaf of fresh rosemary sourdough to enjoy after our trip.“

Doan’s was my choice because they were willing to work with our budget, but mostly because : THEY ARE SO NICE! One phone call with Marina, and I knew I liked her. “Great place to read, work, have a coffee and or pastry. They have a great espresso machine and a lot of options ranging from cakes to macaroons to cookies and chocolates. There is a good amount of indoor and outdoor seating, very stylish and comfortable, good coffee and friendly service.“

“The cake isn’t bad, but for the price I expected it to be moist and the berries not so sour (I got the triple berry cake). The packaging is fantastic though, and I got a thick chocolate chip cookie here once that was top notch.

I will try some of the other bakery sweets or a flourless cake next time I go, but probably wouldn’t ever get a normal cake from here.
