“We traveled from our home out of town to try this restaurant for the first time as we often dine at hulas next door. We weren’t disappointed! We were greeted when we entered . It was a Sunday around 11:00 am and the small dining area was occupied so we chose to sit at the counter. Service was quick and the coffee was hot and well brewed. We had the blueberry waffle platter, apple cinnamon waffle with a half side of biscuits and Gravie. . A whole order is 4 large biscuits. Everything was plated exceptionally well and delicious! The waffle batter must be a special recipe because I’ve never tasted one as good as those we ate today when we order them in other restaurants! All the servers were friendly, attentive and we were acknowledged when we left also. We have definitely found our new diner even though we live out of town 40 minutes away!“

“Absolutely love coming here when my husband and I can. We used to go fairly often when they were located in Oakdale and were surprised when we came to visit in Escalon after almost 2 years and the server remembered us. Delicious food, great staff. I usually get the tekka maki or spicy tuna roll and my husband gets the sashimi, as well as a bottle of the cloudy sake. Bonus, he's allergic to shellfish and has never had a reaction there from cross contamination.“

“This place is fun. The food was great and the atmosphere fun but the staff was a bit off. We ordered extra ranch and paid for it, but they only had part of the order. They said they'd bring it out, once it was prepared but we had to ask multiple times to get it. Our pizza was gone by the time it was ready and we had to go get it.. If the place had been busy, I would have understood but it was a very slow night.“

“Walked in and was greeted right away by Carmen. Server was very nice and helpful. I forge his name. But taller gentleman. But it felt so nice and welcoming. Carmen came by a few times and checked on us. Talked to my wife and kids. Made us feel like locals. Highly recommend a visit to Oakdale huckleberry’s. The food was amazing too.“

“The previous owner of Happy's in Ripon have moved location to Salida. I was disappointed that they closed down, but I'm even grateful that their new restaurant is closer to me. I dine in for their lunch buffet. They give you the option of garlic or plain naan that is complimentary with the buffet; along with their basmati rice. Their buffet is smaller when it comes to their food options. Every dish is flavorful with the seasoning and spices. The tandoori chicken is by far, the best tandoori chicken I've had from an Indian restaurant. The spices and seasoning is super flavorful. The fish pakora is delicious. Crispy batter with the flavorful spices/seasoning. The chicken and goat curry did not disappoint either. I couldn't help myself, but eat several plates of the curry. The butter chicken, Shahi Paneer, and the other dishes are delicious. I've sampled all the dishes along with the dessert. The Gulab Jamon and rice pudding is delicious. I really like the rice pudding. I can taste their rice pudding is made with basmati rice. The texture of the basmati rice grain 🌾 is much thinner than the regular rice. Their chai tea ☕ is refreshing as well. The waiters do a wonderful job of refilling my water when it gets low. Thank you very much for a delicious meal. See you again soon.“

“This was hands down the BEST experience I've ever had at a restaurant. The service was absolutely amazing. The staff were so attentive, fast, nice and kind, and extremely helpful. My family and I are still talking about how outstanding the staff was and how amazing the food was. This was 100% a 10/10 experience and we WILL be back. The pho was great and the cream cheese wontons were the BEST I've ever had. Gosh this was so good. Definitely coming back soon. Tren was awesome and an amazing waiter. “I've never had shabushabu before and it was amazing! So many choices of everything! It's buffet and ridiculously delicious. So much food and so healthy too. Good idea to go for lunch because it's cheaper than dinner. And they were so kind to let me and my friend sit as long as we wanted. The service was wonder. I will definitely be back!“

“Just Great Italian food period. We've have ate there off and on for dinner and lunch for years now. I've been meaning to try other Italian restaurants in the area, we have a hard time with that I guess. We do take out too, and it never fails to disappoint. It's not a great choice after the holidays if you're trying to shed a few of those kilos.

Fried oysters are okay. If fries are vital to you, dine in: they don’t use the kind that stay crisp on the drive home. Service is plenty fine for what it is: they are cranking out big orders at high speed.“

“A little dark inside. So with my eyes it was kind of hard to read the menu. But I guess that's more my problem LOL! We were seated quickly on a Sunday for lunch time. Servers were attentive and kind and kept checking on us to see if we needed refills or anything else. The food was delicious. Fish tasted fresh. We got sushi and some appetizers and some udon noodles. Everything came out great. I guess my only complaint would be, when we were done. We kind of felt rushed to get out of there. They kept just hanging around our table, taking things and just standing there staring at us. Almost felt like they were pushing us to leave. We weren't there that long after we had finished so it just felt weird. But, then again it wasn't a packed restaurant so maybe they just didn't have much to do and really just wanted to clean our tables. When we left. It wasn't for that. I'd give it five stars. I just don't like to feel rushed at all when I pay for a meal this pricey.“

“Went here for our Easter Sunday lunch. The place is clean and quiet. The young lady server is nice and sweet. We ordered the shrimp roll as a starter, the papaya salad, tom kha, beef penang curry, and their classic Thai fried rice which is a stand out! Their Thai iced tea and the pink drink were also definitely a treat! Overall, we had a good dining experience here. “I love their cider and, without a doubt, it's better than any other cider. I recently moved out of state and this is one place I try to get to every time. They have a rotation of many flavors, with 5 on tap each day, and you can get a flight. The place is simple and inviting, even though you're in a parking lot. Food is by food truck and varies day to day.“
