“Cute restaurant with good vibes. Came for lunch and ordered a poke bowl and a portobello panini. We were indecisive in picking salad vs ciabatta chips for the side, the server was nice enough to give us both. Had chocolate panini with whipped cream for dessert. Everything was pretty good, but I have to say it's quite pricey, almost bay area price. Poke was $22, panini was $19.“

“Great little cafe/ breakfast sandwich shop! The staff was very sweet and welcoming and were able to modify the sandwich to my liking with no hesitations. I had a modified pesto chicken sandwich to-go and it was a 10/10. I added avocado to my chicken sandwich and they put a good amount of it, not like other shops where they only put a small amount of avocado especially when you’re already paying extra for it. The bread of the sandwich itself was delicious and toasted very well, I want to say they make the bread in house just because it was really good. Honestly the sandwich was probably one of the best chicken toasted sandwiches I’ve had from a cafe in the area. I also grabbed a raspberry and cream cheese croissant and it was also a 10/10. The croissant was very light, soft, and flaky with a good amount of flavorful filling. Isabel’s Vintage Cafe will become one of my go-to cafes!“

“Had brunch. Was the quintessential ‘American’ (US) diner meal. The food was excellent and plentiful. The young lady who served our table was super personable and a sweetheart. Met Frank who was as nice as can be, extremely welcoming and engaging. We don’t live in the area but visit the Central Valley at least once a year. Can’t wait to return to Frank’s next time we’re in the area.“

“BEST cheesecake I have ever had!! One of the bakers adopted a dog from my work and was so kind to drop off individual-sized cheesecake to our staff. We devoured them instantly! My mind was blown when I took a bite. Delicious!“

“When I walked in, I thought this place was going to be super expensive because it is FANCY, like tablecloths and wait staff in uniform fancy. However, I got an incredible Greek salad which knocked my shoes off for just $14! This thing had everything: fancy feta cheese chunks, artichoke hearts, whole olives, super flavorful tomatoes, I could go on. Plus they brought out warm pita bread immediately which went great with the olive oil on the table. And the waitress who served me was so nice and attentive. 100% will be back.

“I had my first bowl of Phó in Milpitas CA 1990 and I've been in love with it borderline obsessed ever since. In 1990, there were few, next to none, Latinos having phó for any meal of the day and in the case of the place I was going, no one spoke English and there were 2 places I knew of in San Jose or the surrounding areas. I started to learn Vietnamese by asking my co workers who took me to the place to only speak to me in Vietnamese and in no time, I was able to order everything I wanted but I digress. I guess I said all that to say this, I've been to many Phó restaurants and these guys rank among the best that I've had!“

“Don’t let the outside of the building scare you! Took the family, food was awesome and the staff extremely kind. The asada super burritos were hot and full of great flavor and the slices of avocado were super fresh. Loved every bite. The rest of the family had tacos, chimichanga, and a plate of rice, beans and fries for the kids. Everyone was very happy with their meals. I also ordered a horchata that came in a large mug which was excellent as well. Service was friendly and generous, though with the limited staff food was a little slow coming out, but there was plenty of free chips and salsa to snack on while waiting.

Kid-friendliness: Staff was kind to our 3 young kids, and helped move tables together to accommodate our family. Restaurant was quiet and felt safe for our one son who is on the spectrum.

“The food had good flavor, and the portions were hearty. The service needs some attention. Keeping the coffee warm should be a basic service standard at any restaurant. I had to ask three times for a warm-up. I will go back for the food, and I hope the service can rise to the same level.“

“Went here for my birthday lunch a couple months ago and had Bruschetta, crab cakes, and chicken parm with fettuccine alfredo. This is my favorite Italian restaurant in the 209. Their food is always hot, fresh, and super flavorful! I can't come here without getting the Bruschetta and chicken parm. They also have a very tentative and freidnly staff. Truly a hidden gem of Modesto. 10/10!“

The actual hotdog was good quality and tasty.The Cinnamon(?) Pretzel sticks were soft and bouncy. A donut like flavor but no awkward shape. If I had some coffee I'd be dipping this in like an oreo.The Almond Crunch Pretzel Sticks won me over with their texture and were my favorite!“
