GuateMayan Yum Yums Reviews
Unique niche cuisine with dishes you can’t get elsewhere in the county even if the names look the same. The flavors are fresh and the profile is overall lighter than the more familiar Mexican dishes. Also, I love the atole/champurado drinks — so filling!
I absolutely love the place. My girlfriend introduced me to the place. I go there all the time for lunch.
Everything we had, we loved.
I want to try every tamale, but we started with the Chicken Masa and the Chuchitos and they were both delicious and perfectly cooked. The Garanchas were great for sharing, and so were the papusas which were nice and crispy outside and had the perfect amount of filling inside. I can never get enough curtido (pickled cabbage) with my papusas, but GuateMayan Yum Yums' was even more delicious than most, I love how they add plenty of oregano 👌

The food is consistently fresh and delicious, with one customer's Guatemalan husband initially skeptical but ultimately impressed. The pupusas, in particular, are praised for their large size, generous fillings, and delectable taste. The pickled vegetables and sauces served alongside complement the pupusas perfectly.
