“We celebrated our National Charity League ladies holiday party at Gaslight Co. earlier this month. They were amazing! The event coordinator Casey was responsive and easy to work with. The night of the event the back room was festive, the food was delicious and plentiful, and the cocktails were phenomenal! I would highly recommend Gaslight for a celebration or just a night out!“

“I had the trax tacos from here and they might be the best tacos ive ever had. I one then and the other two two days later and still amazing. The reason i gave 2 stars for the atmosphere is because i asked the worker how she felt about working there since she looked miserable she told me she hated it their and dont apply and whenever the owner (some Indian guy) would look up all the staff would act like they were in severe jeaoardy if they made eye contact which was interesting to watch over and over. “Very good pub! My fiance and I came here for st paddy's yesterday and enjoyed every bit of it!It was very crowded but was to be expected for the holiday. We still somehow managed to find seating. The ambience was very home-y, I loved the wooden booths and historic artwork. I'm a big history person so I loved it!! Much better than most pubs I've ever been to, with very fast service even with the amount of people there. Fish was delicious with a soft bun. Fries were hot. Shepherds pie was good just a little salty. Pretzel was good, cheese sauce was okay. Overall had a good experience here! Will definitely be back! :)“

And the people that visit this place were so welcoming as well. “UNDER NEW OWNERSHIP! Outstanding experience at 19 Handles, we came with a very big party 6 adults and 9 kids. Service was prompt and efficient. “First off, this is an amazing place. A gem indeed. This is actual cooking, a singular enterprise by one owner, and that certainly deserves respect in a town whose food scene is being regularly bought out by investors that treat their businesses as just that, an investment, and not an addition to the neighborhood & culture. Yes, it is a small place, and in a nook which really only immediate locals usually end up at, easy to miss. But also simply perfect when you'd like to feel less-than-bombarded in a town with half a million people where much of the homey-ness is missing. It has a familiar ambiance that also feels well-traveled, with a nautical feel. The service is on point! The owner is super friendly & generous. It is never awkward to pick up to go here. My only alternative input would be to get more sustainable containers for to-go purposes. Enough about the place, more about the food, which is a welcome and unique style in the Sacramento Greek food scenery. The options are simple, ample, and easily suited to different dietary needs & preferences (gluten-free, vegetarian, no cheese for vegan). The go-to for my friends is the Lamb Gyro, which is truly deserving of the term Gigantic. The proportions of filling are not finely cut or chopped, adding to the hugeness of the gyro, which is more like an entire pita bread with at least 1-2 cucumbers and a huge portion of perfectly marinated protein. Being vegan, I enjoyed the dolmathes, hummus, beans, & of course the massive pillowy pita bread, which is insanely better than the kind I've found at the store, it's super fresh. Definately if you're in the area & passing by, try it out. Just check the hours first!“

“Awesome staff, always sweet and hooks up pool. The drinks are reasonably priced. The reason for the 4 star is because every now and then, they get questionable patrons. My buddy and I were approached by a banger acting all weird. But it's like 1 out of 5 times we've he'd that issue. Otherwise, it's an awesome place to hang out.“

“This review is based upon 2 visits to Dolan's. My first visit was to just check it out, so I had fries, Guinness and a shot of Irish whiskey. Second time, I brought a friend and we split the beet salad (BEYOND delicious, especially for a bar!), and we split the empanadas that were on special (also very good!). We got to meet Mike Dolan and Cookie, who made us feel like instant regulars. I ended up ordering their old world corned beef and beet salad to take home to.the husband. "How are there so many people out on a Wednesday?" "Nobody goes to work anymore." I had two cranberry and vodkas, and honestly do not remember what he had. My drinks must have been good, because it's now Friday afternoon, and I'm still slightly reeling from Wednesday. There was only one bartender, but he seemed to be doing a pretty decent job keeping up with the crowd. I'm not sure if it's just because I haven't been out enough lately, but I was really impressed with the vibe and the ambiance. Everyone there seemed really chill. It was a bit loud, but not nearly as loud as somewhere like Scarlett's down the street. We were both pretty sure that there used to be pool tables here, but noticed that they were gone now.
