Mind's Eye is beautifully decorated to make you feel cozy and relaxed, and the service is as kind and friendly as could be. They have an extensive tea and coffee menu, fresh baked goods, $1 cinnamon toast "the way Mom used to make", a soup option with yummy buttered toast, and a panini option, but only on select days (Fri, Sat, & Sun I believe).“

“Patches' now has a most adorable little shop/stand on Ferndale's Main Street! Everything I have tried from them has become my favorite -- so I can't choose just one thing to recommend. The love put into these delectables is obvious and my only complaint is that I am going to get even chonkier, ha! LOVE this place and you will too.Kid-friendliness: There are so many delicious options with ice cream, milkshakes, baked goods.... I frequently see kids there who have ridden their bikes to get a treat and lots of families too!“

“First of all we got there 5 minutes before they closed and they still let me and my husband and 2 of our kids stay. I had the burger and homemade onion rings they were so good. One of the best burgers I've had in a while and, my husband had linguica with eggs, potatoes and gluten free toast, he really enjoyed his too. My boys had French toast breakfast and my 8 year old son had chicken sandwich with veggie soup, he loved his sandwich, he said I give them 5 stars! Friendly staff, clean restaurant, cloth napkins, breakfast served all day! Would definitely come back when in the area!“

“Despite my folks living in Fortuna for several years, I hadn't ever been here! The inside is super cute and it has nice breakfast options. The staff were very friendly! The coffee was good and they have some fun types like a Mexican mocha. Service is probably faster at the drive thru, but the inside is cozy! Just don't enter from mainstreet on accident like I did; you need to enter on the side street. Oops!“

“My only complaint is, they didn’t ask if I wanted to leave a tip lol! I totally spaced that we paid card and didn’t leave a tip, so figured I could at least leave a nice review? Staff is always so sweet, and the coffee is literally the BEST in Humboldt county, hands down! I’ll be sure to tip double next time! ?“

“Amazing staff. Love certain people on certain crews.Between 9am-2pm the people who make my drinks are amainggg. Exactly what I want the sweetness and all. Anytime I went after those times my drinks weren't so great but the crew is still AMAZINGG!“
