“My family and I were driving through Fillmore with an appetite. People I know tend to stop by El Pescador. After giving El Pescador a try once before, I never wanted to try Mexican food in the area again. I come from parents who were born and raised in Mexico. My expectation for Mexican food is simple. It’s got to taste as if it’s made with love. La Unica made my families evening. The birria burrito was everything I’m used to. The carnitas tacos were made with tortillas the way my mom makes hers. And the salsas were on point. Thank you. I hope to stop here again if I am ever in the area.“
“We live in Santa Barbara and visit my parents in Bakersfield - any and every time we’re in the area we always stop in to get donuts. Super nice man behind the counter, the old fashioned glazed buttermilk and apple fritters are my absolute favorite. Sometimes those types of donuts at other places taste like the oil they’re fried in, but not these!! Definitely stop in if you haven’t before!“

“I've been meaning to try the other places in the shopping center but it's hard to pass up Gaby's. Coworkers and I drive over there from Simi on our lunch break but it's easy with being able to call in our orders and have it ready when we arrive.“
“Best pan Dulce in Santa Barbara customer service Very Friendly 😀 Visiting from LA“
“I have ordered two custom cakes from Delicious Edibles and both were fantastic. A solar system cake for my son and a burrito cake for my husband, which was a major hit. David is super helpful and the cakes were moist and absolutely delicious. Thank you David and Delicious Edibles!“
“An adorable cafe with many nature elements on display (including an interior 'sun room' brimming with plants). The owner (I presume) visited our table to tell us about the drinks we ordered, sharing how the rose lemonade is made from scratch on site. The server was equally polite and friendly, sharing how my tiramisu latte should be enjoyed (the creamy top eaten with a spoon halfway, then stirred). I appreciated their interest in making sure we enjoyed everything we purchased to the fullest.“

“The BIGGEST HIDDEN SECRET in southern California is in Fillmore. At the crossroads of 3 cultures German, England & France there is a hidden Diamond called Ron Mills Bakery/Grocery store in Fillmore. After buying their breads and other baked goods at the Calabasas Farmer Market, we finally decided to drive on a Saturday afternoon to visit their store/bakery in Fillmore,(open to public 2 days a week only) We wanted to do that for more than 2 years and the experience was simply short of miracle, we discovered a place that brings the best of Europe without the misery of travel. The drive through some of the most impressive canyons and views alone makes it a desired destination, but what we discover in terms of biodynamic produce and baked goods simple takes you to the heart of 3 cultures, We tried everything in the baked goods, a Kish out of heaven and the best Bavarian grandma's kitchen, Pastries recalling England, France and Germany, Breads that only are found in heaven and lots of unique vegetables fresh from the local farms picked that day....We are very grateful to find the kindest people who are committed to do things right with total humility. Their homemade fresh pastas alone are worth the trip, their pizzas are as good as any made by an italian Grandma. I can go on because we also bought eggs (the best), and so many items it would be too long to list. A total 4 hours trip drive and shopping was as good as a week vacation. We are consuming daily the foods from Ron Mills and it makes travel up a different part of OLD TRADITIONAL EUROPE every day on our plates. Bravo Ron Miller and family, keep up the good work. We will make it our food shopping destination.“
