“I've been eating at this place for years. I'm so happy they've survived the challenges that come with running a small mom and pop shop, including the pandemic when a lot of businesses didn't survive. Their food is craveworthy, their service is always pleasant, and I appreciate that their operation is very clean. This place is a real gem, and if you haven't tried them yet you're missing out. This is my go to cheese steak any time the desire hits (even better than Capriottis!)“

“We passed this restaurant and decided to try it for lunch on Sunday. We ordered on the counter & waited about 10 mins before picking up at the farther end of the counter. We ordered regular portion and the portion was very generous with lots of meat & melty cheese in the middle. The bread was perfect: crunchy on the outside yet soft inside.

- The steakout (chicken): the chicken was perfectly cooked. The meat was tender & well seasoned.
- The fugitive (steak): the steak was thinly sliced and tender. However, it would be great if they put more seasoning since it was a bit bland. The cheese was melted perfectly and the sandwich was really good.
- Mini cheesesteak with fries (kids): my kiddo got half sandwich but it was huge! The cheesecake didn't have mushroom nor onion so it was perfect for my picky kiddo. The cheese was perfectly melted and delicious. It also came with a juice box & side of french fries. The french fries were crunchy and good.
- Onion rings: okay. The coating was crispy and good but the onion inside was a bit wet.“

“My husband and I ordered takeout for one regular Western, and one chillin king sandwich with fries. The regular sandwich is maybe 4in at most and the king is the size of most regular sandwiches. They were both delicious, just would recommend ordering king size“

“A Rocklin staple, have been going here for more than 15 years. Everything on the menu is delicious, chicken and steak philly’s are my favorite. Bread is made in house. Gyros are also amazing. A true ma and pa shop, the owners are so welcoming and hard working, I’ve seen their kids work and grow up here. They will remember you and your go-to order after just a few visits. So many restaurants in this area have came and went but they have withstood the test of time. An absolute local treasure!“
