Islands Restaurant Folsom

Awesome restaurant and bar, great happy hour. However, heard that they will be permanently closing both the Folsom and the Roseville locations in mid-September! So, so, so, so, so, so, SAD. :( Loved hanging out, doing Happy Hour and watching Baseball & NFL. I will really miss the people, ambiance, and restaurant after they close. Great employees. :(

I first time I saw this franchise was in SoCal they had some great burgers !Decided to stop in I was not disappointed, I had a couple of fish tacos they were really good! And tried some tortilla soup excellent!I was disappointed that they didn't have an Ahi burger. I'm glad they are able to stay open with patio seating during the plandemic And it's nice to have different restaurant options other than the same old Northern California franchises. Today we had lunch at Islands and while the food and the staff was friendly enough it was a disappointing experience. We were taken to two different tables as the staff was trying to keep everyone 6' apart, not a big deal but they could have been prepared for that. The hostess brought us to a table and said our waitress would be there shortly. Didn't leave any type of menu, paper or otherwise for us. We waited about 10 minutes before we had to stop a staff member to ask for assistance....read full review
