This is by far my most favorite place in the North Bay. I was a Berkeley cafe kid growing up and have found nothing with the quality and selection like this little gem up North. The owner is super cool, the place is always dialed in and very clean, and the food is amazing. The hand-made treats and baked goodies are unparalleled. I visit A La Heart once a week to get some pre-made meals, a latte, and sometimes a sweet something, like this Caramel Apple Scone, which I apologize for being a half-eaten picture but it’s FLAVOR inspired this review. Beyond scrumptious.The food is always delicious (the soups are my favorite) and the owner is so very friendly and welcoming.Aside from the food it is also a great place to shop for an artisan gift. 10/5 stars for A La Heart!
