“One particularly hot night my mom and I searched, “Best Gelato near me” and the top result was Mangiamo! After eating the gelato 3 times in a row, we can definitely say that title is well earned! The Double Chocolate flavor is for sure the best chocolate flavored Gelato in the whole state of California; not to mention it’s totally authentic too! The server is also incredibly kind and pleasant to talk to. Overall, this place is such a phenomenal experience and we would highly recommend it for vacationers and gelato connoisseurs alike!“

“I love this place and when I’m in town with my family we take the kids and it’s such a fun experience. Tonight we made it 5 mins before closing not knowing what to expect or if we’d still be able to order. They were extremely accommodating and even made my daughter the cakey character that wasn’t on the menu. She was so excited cause that’s what she really wanted. They even add little dodgers hats and stuff for a couple bucks extra. Also it’s really hot outside so even when they were closing they said we can stay and eat it inside while they clean up, so it doesn’t melt. Excellent customer service and I will be recommending them to everyone. Also super cool that you can watch them make it, it’s so interesting. 10/10 would recommend!!“

“I've now been to the Costa Mesa and Irvine locations. I loooove this spot. The shaved ice is perfect delicate sweetness and texture. Service is pretty quick, even when they're packed. Also tried the mochi waffle this time and wow wow wow. I'll be returning soon with my kids because I want them to be able to share on the epic deliciousness.“

Me and a friend got the BoozaLava (baklava with ice cream), Karak tea, and got the following ice cream flavors: Istanbul coffee, Vanilla, Strawberry, and Honey Lavender.
The BoozaLava was crunchy with a well balanced sweetness and was perfect with the ice cream. My only suggestion would be that perhaps metal cutlery would work better with this dessert, I had no trouble finishing every bite though.
The Karak tea I got with minimal sweetness added, the spice adds it's own rich sweet flavor on its own. It might be a new favorite, similar to a cinnamon latte but better. I drank this after finishing the dessert so I could appreciate it fully.
The ice cream was divine. I only grew up on handmade/homemade ice cream and it is a world of difference when you can taste the fresh ingredients. I recommend getting ice cream separately as well as combining it with dessert.

I also got Filo tea and Roz Bi Halib (rice pudding) to-go to share with my family! I got my tea unsweetened, it was enjoyably minty and earthy. My mother loved the rice pudding. She loved the texture and how the sweetness wasn't aggressive. I'm a local and I recommend this to any local. It's a warm, clean and calm environment and the staff are incredibly kind and accommodating. Perfect place for a weekly treat or your regular coffee/tea.“

“Just wanted to grab a quick lunch from this area and was honestly very satisfied! Upon entering, the atmosphere was pretty quiet, calm and I was atteneded quickly! Ordered the tuna sandwich and a hazelnut ice coffee. Tuna sandwich took a little bit to make but 100% worth the wait! Sandwich was big, filled, and super delicious! “We recently ordered two boba drinks from Bobuzz, including their signature “PMC” with boba and “The Dark White.” While the overall flavor of the drinks was comparable to other quality boba shops, the tapioca pearls (“boba”) were unfortunately undercooked, which detracted from the experience. Additionally, offering customers the option to customize the sweetness level would be a welcome improvement. While there is potential, the overall experience left us with mixed feelings. Personally, it wouldn’t be my first choice for a dessert stop after a pleasant meal, at least not for now.“

Craving these super addictive Croffles? Try these waffle croissant desserts from @crofflehousela ?? They come sweet or savory. We tried their Fruity Pebbles and Oreo - customer favorites! The perfect snack!

I was looking forward to it having a stick with the Croffles, like the pictures and videos I’d seen but we got it without it. They are topped with Thrifty ice cream so you have to be quick to eat because it starts melting. When people take it to go, the croffles are packed separately to put together at home. The croffle can be put in an air fryer or toaster oven to warm up and get the crispiness.

They are only open on Sundays 12-5pm inside of Luv 4 Nutrition, which is why it took me so long to try this place. From seeing the videos, I was looking forward to trying it! I love the vibrant orange wall, which brightens up the room. There are plenty of tables and chairs.

I was disappointed to not be able to try more flavors, which weren’t available. I spoke with Cece about some new things she has in the works and I think it’s going to be great to draw more people in. I think Croffle House has a lot of potential and I look forward to seeing the next level that Cece takes it to!“

“I love Bake & Che. They have multiple locations now throughout OC and LA. I mainly visit this location because it’s closer to me.

Parking: The parking lot can be frustrating because it can get busy on random days. Finding a spot is a hit or miss.

Ambiance/Environment: They have a small/medium indoor space with a decent amount of indoor seating. It can get crowded with people waiting around at the pick up counter. It’s a Vietnamese spot, so Vietnamese music will be playing.

Service: The workers are nice, quick, and efficient. They speak English and Vietnamese.

Desserts: I absolutely enjoy all their che. It’s so refreshing! Their bakery items brings back so many memories for me. My favorite is the Pandan. My go-to Che are the Thai, avocado, and house special. Perfect amount of milk and a generous amount of jellies & fruits. My only critique is the cleanliness of the packaging. Every time I received my order, the cup is always sticky. Their Green Thai Tea is the BEST I’ve ever had! The floral and pandan notes definitely came through.

Pricing: It is pretty pricey, but definitely worth it every once in a while! Highly recommend joining their rewards program through the Toast app. They also send out coupons/promotions occasionally.“
