“Stopped by this cute place after a long flight in. Jackie and her coworkers were so sweet and welcoming! The food was amazing as well. I got the Aroma Brunch Burger with a side of onion rings (perfectly crispy) and my husband got the Country Fried Chicken with a homemade biscuit.

Family run, nice comfortable atmosphere.

We started off with a freshly baked double chocolate muffin, and destroyed it in seconds. Will definitely visit again before our flight out.“

It’s one of our favorite date night spots in town. We can always look forward to not only amazing food and drinks, but we always leave happy, from having the best conversations with other guests, and staff. Hands down, the best Old Fashioned ever! They make their own syrup and I love it with Buffalo Trace. It’s delicious. Oftentimes we eat off of the appetizer menu, because they are the perfect portions to share or have alone. Favorites: steak bites, pork belly, mozzarella moon pies, brussels sprouts, onion rings, patty melt, homemade chips, Old Fashioned, sweet potato fries, huge salad, pastrami sandwich and my husband’s favorite beer, Pliny the Elder. “I have only taken the time do write a review a couple times in my life, but this place was worth it. The food was great, not great, delicious (more than great). I like the old cafe feeling as well. Besides the great food, having Nancy as a waitress, was the icing on the cake. She was so nice and wholesome.

“waited over an hour for our food - all we ordered were nachos, chicken tenders, fries and a sandwich. there were literally 2 other tables besides us and they already had their food. server wasn't even apologetic or anything. finally had to get my nachos to go : menu said beef nachos. more like canned chili nacho with little to no "beef". not worth $13 by a long shot. never going back. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!“

“The Xinantecatl Restaurant arose on our horizon after a week of backpacking in the Sierras. I'm sure it wasn't only the contrast with rehydrated camping food while slapping hummingbird-sized mosquitoes. But this place is the real deal! Each person in our five person party descended into reverential silence while enjoying fajitas, salad with steak, camarones a la veracruzana (spicy and savory) and camarones a la diablo (SPICY and savory). Meals were served with hot corn tortillas following complimentary excellent thick cut tortilla chips and both red and tomatillo salsas, both tangy and yummy. The man who greeted us was also the chef and waiter, a charming guy on top of talented and efficient cook and cultural translator (ask him what the restaurant name means!).  Complimentary ice creams were his final gift as we departed home to the showers he never let on knowing that we needed.  I'll be back for sure whenever I'm in town!“

“My girlfriend and I were traveling and stayed here for the night after a long drive. We were tired, so instead of ordering out we decided to grab food at the bar. She had the house salad—fresh and delicious—but I have to talk about the California Burger. This burger was incredible… so flavorful and satisfying! Easily one of the best choices we could’ve made after a 12+ hour drive.

For not reason, other then you ordering your sub, the way YOU want it.The pizza(s) are take & bake & everyone's oven, Cooks different. That's the only issue with the pizza(s), but my rating does NOT reflect on that issue.My rating is based off the STAFF as mentioned above & sub quality is 90% on point. There are cooks and there are cooks who understand how to cook food. I went to lunch with my brother . As we walked inside I noticed it was really nice inside there was a beautiful full bar and wine case and I knew that this was going to be a treat. We both were craving a burger , simple right ? Like I said there are cooks and cooks who understand food. Forget about all the chains and smash burger trendy spots around town , if you want a fantastic burger this is the spot ! This is an Italian restaurant so if you are looking for something like pizza , pasta or a maybe a 20 oz bone in ribeye steak if you are really hungry this spot has got you covered. The service is great and welcoming !
I'm a Fresno native and I've been to many places in California, Oregon, Washington and Texas , for the price , service , atmosphere , the quality of the food and passion that goes into the food the Cosmopolitan is my top restaurant over all .
I can't wait to see what the new menu looks like but I want that 20 oz ribeye paired with a bottle of red 🍷 .

“Yes, I love this place. I think I had about 75 tacos just kidding anyway the beer was delicious and nice and cold. The hype is really good there the clientele look classy. I love the place. Willie did an excellent job on my nachos and my tacos.“

“We stopped in for a late breakfast at this IHOP on Tulare Street and were immediately seated. Only about one third of the tables had customers so we had good service throughout our visit.

As we have come to expect from the IHOP restaurants, the coffee was fresh and they left the carafe at our table to refill our cups as we like.

Both of our meals were tasty and still fairly hot. If you've ever worked in a diner, you know that serving a hot breakfast can be a challenge even if the restaurant isn't busy.

My wife's scrambled eggs were light and fluffy and my over easy eggs were cooked perfectly.

The bacon could have been cooked just a bit longer even if you don't like it crisp. The hash browns and sausage were perfect as was the French toast.

The gravy on the biscuits was just a bit bland though I suppose many would disagree.

The restaurant was clean and organized. If we're ever in this part of town again, we would not hesitate to eat here again.“

“My husband and I stopped here Saturday night (about 11:30pm) and were super hungry. David the server was so friendly and greeted us with a big smile. We could tell he was busy so we waited patiently. He came over and took our drink order. About 5-10 mins after that he came to our table to tell us that it was time for the cook (Chuy) to go home and the new one still hadn’t shown up yet. “I don’t have a cook to cook your food, I’m so sorry”. We could tell that he felt terrible as he was telling us but when he saw our faces he quickly offered to cook us dinner if it was easy. We agreed and he happily took our order and went off to cook our food. About 10-15 mins later he came out with our food. I asked if he made it and he said “no. The cook stayed behind just to took your food”. What a guy! Both David and Chuy went above and beyond that night. They both made sure that we had our food and gave us some amazing service. This place has some great people working for them with some great work ethic. I hope the owners see this and give both of those guys a pat on the back.“
