“I live here in French camp and have tried almost all the Indian food trucks in the area but this one has my heart. I’ve been here many times and tried nearly everything on the menu and am finally giving my review. The food is hands down the best I’ve ever had, on top of that the owner is very sweet. He doesn’t do any marketing or ads for this place yet it’s always so busy. The quality and atmosphere speak for itself. And the price is far better than other places, super budget friendly!

“Every time we visit great wolf lodge; we go here. Their food is great - love their pakoras, chicken dishes and basically everything. They serve with smile on face and come asking few times if everything is okay. Highly recommend it and we will not miss any opportunity to eat here.“

The menu offers a diverse range of traditional Indian dishes, and I was impressed by the variety of options. I started with the Non-Veg platter and I loved the Tikkas and Seekh kababs, which were tender and melt in mouth. For my main course, I opted for the Chicken Tikka Masala, which was cooked to perfection. The chicken was tender, and the creamy tomato sauce was rich and aromatic. What truly stood out was the quality of the ingredients and the care with which each dish was prepared. You must try their in-house made sweets too. The service was also top-notch, with friendly staff happy to answer questions and make recommendations. “As a strict vegetarian (no egg, no meat, no fish), we always look for food options when planning for a trip. We found this on the way to Tahoe. The food was really good and delicious. Best part is that it is all freshly prepared in the food truck. Do try Gobi manchurian chaat. Chloe bhature could have been a bit better but rest of the food was good. We ordered Parathas (paneer, mix, aloo), Saag (excellent!) and Rotis. We also ordered mix pakoras which were OK. Do try when in the area.

“I was on my way from Fresno to Mt Shasta and stopped by to pick up food from this restaurant. I ordered Chana Masala, shrimp in tomato sauce and yellow daal. I had Indian food before everywhere I go because I love Indian food but this restaurant had an exceptional tasting food. Every dish was very very tasty. I’d definitely come here again even if I have to make a long drive. 5 stars!“

I recently had the pleasure of trying Amritsari Kulcha at this amazing spot, and I must say, it was absolutely delicious! The flavors were spot on—crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and packed with spices that took me straight to the streets of India.
The owners are kind and humble, and you can really tell they care about their customers and the quality of food they serve. It felt like we were on a little food tour through the streets of India, and we can’t wait to go back. Highly recommend this place for anyone craving authentic Indian street food!“

“Really good food. At first it seemed pretty basic, but if you wait until the naan comes out you will for sure eat until you drop. I’ll be honest it takes a little while for the naan to come out, but it’s worth the wait. I would request it right when you you get seated. The naan with butter chicken and some of the white sauce next to the cucumbers and onions was perfect. They give you an option to upgrade the butter naan to garlic naan too. Als very good. I will definitely come back.“
