“Every time I visit Westminster, Pho 79 is a must-stop for me. The pho is rich, flavorful, and incredibly satisfying — you can really taste the depth of the broth and the care that goes into every bowl.

Just a heads up: it’s cash only, so come prepared. Also, the fried chicken is a hidden gem — crispy, juicy, and definitely worth ordering alongside your pho. The sauce with the chicken is the play and takes it to another level. I’m always here when I’m in the area because the quality and consistency never disappoint.

“After I dined in here I know why they could maintain their good rating. The soup is really good, I can say authentic Vietnamese taste. “Really delicious food and friendly and attentive staff. I asked if they had the special fish sauce (NƯỚC CHẤM) for spring rolls rather than peanut sauce, and they made it for me especially. The pho noodles were amazingly tasty. Everything was good! And fresh. I will be back!“

“I love this place. Took me over a year to finally write this honest review. Everyone local loves it. Broth is SO FRESH. The owners in the kitchen and the front of the house Ariel always provide best fastest and most exceptional service. It's just a bowl of pho but it makes feel so comforted and cozy. “First time here. You can sit on your own or wait until they give you the menus. It took a while to get attended and ordered a coke can. Took a bit for the drink to be given so the owner gave me another one for free for the waiting, The pho is a perfect size and the price was $13 for a regular one. I got the combination one which was amazing and used the sweet sauce given. Small business and sometimes they have live music.“

“This place has my favorite chicken dishes. When I’m feeling like I need something with broth, I’m going for the pho ga. When I’m feeling for some rice, I pick the com ga chien ( fried chicken rice). “One if the best Pho's in the area hands down. The broth is VERY hot which i love. Ive had the chicken, beef, and shrimp pho and all are consistenly good. The noodles are firmer than most places but it works well since the soup is very hot and the noodles don't turn to mush.“

“We ordered half of the steam empress chicken with the ginger and scallion sauce with clear noodle and rice noodles it was the BEST combos. So good! That we forgotten to take photos of them. Kids ordered beef ball noodles and beef pho noodles it was all gone by the time we are done. We got 2 bottle waters it was half the regular size of a regular 16oz bottle water and they charge $1.50 each we thought that was funny for such a smal 8ozl bottle. ?“

“Wow, the taste was amazing - both the pho and the cucumber lemonade. The pho was richly and deeply flavored and was satisfying while still being bright and fresh feeling. The service was very prompt, friendly and helpful - the server understood my not liking overly sweet drinks and recommended the cucumber lemonade as refreshing while still having sweetness. It was, indeed, refreshing and sweet - perfectly balanced flavors. The server also wisely suggested we package the noodles and broth of our leftovers seperately. I almost never eat out, but I would if I lived near Soup Shop.“

“Nice family owned pho restaurant. Very spacious interior with some booths. The pho is very fairly priced and portions are huge. They even offer a variety of complementary nonalcoholic drinks besides water like Thai tea, soy milk, lemonade. Waiter was very kind and friendly.“

Ordered the anti gravity house noodles
- bowl of egg noodles and garlic butter sauce, sausage and fried shrimp.

It’s Cajun noodles if you’ve offered at your local bag and crab or Cajun bowl grill. Classic flavors of butter, chilli, and spices.

What makes it different is that it actually tastes rich evenly. Some crab bowl spice places skimp and it’s a consistent flavor all the way through.

Shareable between you and your person with out taking too much room if you wanted to try other stuff in the packing district.“
