One of the good Thai options in Orange County.. The food tasted great and you get large quantity of food for a good price ?We tried their famous dishes -* Beef Panang Curry ? (must try) - the meat was so tender and had nice curry taste* Thai Nakorn Fried Rice, Spicy Basil Fried Rice ? - Even though its their house specials, we felt it was regular fried rice as in other places..* Spring rolls - this was also goodWould definitely recommend it to others..??
Thai Nakorn Restaurant is a popular dining destination, known for its ability to accommodate large groups and parties. The restaurant has recently been renovated, giving it a fresher and nicer look. Parking is convenient and free onsite.
The menu offers a variety of Thai dishes, with some standouts such as the larb salad, Tod Mun fish cakes, and deep-fried catfish with house sauce. The mango sticky rice is also a favorite for dessert. However, some dishes may be hit or miss, with some being described as mediocre or overly salty. There have been instances where dishes contained allergens that were not clearly indicated on the menu, so it is recommended to inquire about specific ingredients.
The staff is generally friendly and attentive, with some going above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction. Prices are on the higher side, but the portions are large and suitable for sharing. The restaurant is bright, clean, and has a cute tree decoration by the entrance.
Overall, Thai Nakorn Restaurant is a decent option for those seeking Thai cuisine, particularly for large groups or parties. While some dishes may be inconsistent in quality, the standout dishes and attentive staff make for a generally pleasant dining experience.
