“Ok so I like the customer service. Cool people. I have tried this restaurant twice now. The rice and peas are good. I got oxtail one time and it needed a little salt. The next time I bought oxtails & brown stew chicken & both were salty. The oxtails were juicy both times. I bought soursop, which they made from scratch while I was there and that was delicious. I'll try this restaurant it again.“
“I def got a new spot for my big girl meal prep, cause they hooked me tf up. I order a Large jerk chicken and curry chicken.....Lord! They gave me so much food it lasted me 3 days. I went home and made jerk chicken nachos, jerk quesadilla, jerk chicken salad... I copped some roti shells and devoured the curry chicken. The flavors were amazing, you can tell their food is made with TLC. I Def need to go back in 5-7 business days.lol!“
“It was my 1st time goin there and I must say it was worth it. I had the Red Snapper and Cabbage with the bean soup. It was simply delicious. I will definitely be coming back. I found a new to but old to other place to go for some good and reasonable food.“
“My husband and I come her often and they have the best Jamaican food we have ever had. The service is really good, and the plates are big. We are vegan and the Jackfruit platter is amazing. If you’re vegan then this is definitely worth to try.“
“Sooo good! This is my first review I’ve ever written in my life cause I left like they deserved it. Food 10/10!!! Depending on what time you go it could take 10-20 mins for your food to come out but it’s so worth it!! So flavorful with great portions I ordered small plates and they were still pretty big. I tried it on a whim and have been going there ever since and I’ll be back today lol. I’m from the south and it’s so hard to find actual food with flavor here my go to spot anytime I’m in Inglewood! Get the brown stew chicken you won’t regret it.“
“The food here is so delicious. I had the jerk shrimp, which was served piping hot and nice and spicy. I loved the spiciness of it! It doesn't appear that the shrimp is currently in the menu, so it might have been a seasonal dish. Honestly though, I don't think you can go wrong with whatever you order.“
“It was suggested by family. Dropped my bags at the hotel and walked over. You’re transported to a local restaurant roadside in Jamaica. Bright colored walls and artwork. Cute bar decorated with raffia. I was so hungry, we ordered a lot. Our server was very patient and helped us with ordering.Rice and beans were vegetarian nice portion and tasty. Jerk tenders taste more like a light bbq sauce. Large sautéed vegetables. My favorite were the fried shrimp. Well seasoned and golden brown. 3 large crab cakes golden brown. Food is cooked to order.Friendly StaffStreet parkingIndoor outdoor seatingGrade AVegetarian options: Rice and beansKaleMixed vegetablesPlantains“
“Coming from London, where I lived in Brixton, I missed good Jamaican food. I drove past this spot on my way to something nearby and, thankfully, had 20 minutes before I had to be there. I wasn't that hungry but I missed Jerk chicken and festivals. Th Jerk Spot was amazing. Chicken was amazing, subtle but spicy, tender, and the jerk sauce was manna. I even took a bottle of it home and I've been putting it on everything ever since. The festivals, or reggae bread as they call them, were a little dense than I'm used to, but was perfect for soaking up the juices and sauce. I loved it, I've been back even though I live miles away, and I'll be back again next time I'm in the area. Don't miss it.“
“This place feels like it only has,One cook, one cashier & one server. The wait for ordering was long. The wait to get your food was longer. The music was jamming, but it was hella loud for such a small space. I ate outside. But oh my God, the food was on point100% bombastic Jamaican fire!!!Well worth the wait. I'll be going back. This isn't fast food. This is real food! And they give you plenty of it. Trust. If you want something quick & sloppyGo across the street to el poco loco.If you have the time and the yearningFor that comforting caribbean flavorThen you need to give this joint a try.“
“One of the better Jamaican restaurants in the South Bay area. I got the Jerk chicken dinner with three sides which after taxes comes to around $24.00 or so, but the food is worth it. They also have lunch specials, but only during the week. Definitely would recommend to those fans of Jamaican cuisine.“
“The food was served really quick and it was good delicious. All though, they don't reveal any ingredients for the drinks which is disappointing cause we were fooled thinking their special drinks ( Watermelon punch) was carbonation. The restaurant was really homely reminding me of my home country Kenya. But the Regaee punch, jerk chicken combo, and both of their meat patties were to dieeee for ?Dietary restrictions: The food is soul food which is packed with fat and sugar, the food was perfectly salted ( barely none to some) which I enjoyed But this was definitely not healthy ?“
