The restaurant offers a variety of sandwiches, with many customers appreciating the option to build their own, allowing for customization to suit personal tastes. The service is consistently praised as helpful and patient, contributing to a pleasant dining experience.
Many reviews highlight the freshness of the ingredients, making the food memorable. The Del Monte Special is a favorite for regulars, noted for its consistency and quality over multiple visits. Other standout items include the Reuben sandwich, which has been described as one of the best, rivaling those found in traditional New York delis. The macaroni salad and the renowned carrot cake also receive high marks.
The atmosphere, while functional, is described as somewhat dark and in need of a refresh, but this does not deter customers from enjoying their meals. Portions are generous, and many find the prices reasonable compared to other eateries.
