About San Juan Grill
San Juan Grill Reviews
Just bring your own food! Here is expensive and taste bad.
The worst place ever! the most disgusting food I ve ever eaten! The French fries are being fried in old oil. It’s terrible place!!! Don’t recommend it!
Putting mariachi and they have only fries 👎👎👎
San Juan Grill, located inside Gilroy Gardens, offers a variety of casual food options in a lively setting. The restaurant features a colorful exterior with Spanish tiles and mariachi music, creating a fun atmosphere. Inside, however, the space can be crowded and difficult to find a seat, especially during busy times. The dining area is often wet and sticky, indicating a need for more frequent cleaning or better maintenance.
The menu includes burgers, quesadillas, nachos, chicken strips, salads, and sides. Mexican items are limited to nachos with gooey yellow cheese and meat, and carne asada fries, which, despite being pricey, are reportedly tasty. Unfortunately, the carne asada was unavailable during one visit, and the fries can sometimes be less fresh. Customers can order by standing in line and then finding a seat, as there is no table service.
Service quality varies; a standout is a staff member named Jesus, who provides exceptional, professional service amidst the chaos. Food generally satisfies hunger but is not outstanding. Some fries may be not fresh, and chicken tenders can be dry and crispy. Overall, San Juan Grill is a decent spot for a quick bite, especially for those visiting Gilroy Gardens, but improvements in cleanliness and seating arrangements could enhance the experience.
