“I live in the central valley, but whenever I come down to Anaheim see my.mom and my sister, I stop by here. I love, love, love their karekare, macaroni salad and buko pandan. Those are only the few reasons why I go there instead of the others that are close by the freeway. Don't get me wrong, all the food are delicious and cooked fresh, but what really gets me to come everytime are the people there. They are so friendly and they always smile. They greet you and they even talked to you, nakakawala ng pagod sa mahabang biyahe. Thank you for being so kind to us. May kakwentuhan ka na, busog ka pa.“

“Late Review, we dined here (party of 6) around Christmas Time 2022 to celebrate hubby's birthday and also meeting my newly wed cousin Joanne and hubby for the first time. I am very well pleased with the ambiance, like dining at my home's formal dining room. We ordered practically everything in their extensive menu. The food was served promptly and everything delicious !! Everyone enjoyed the feast. I would like to thank the owner especially for giving us a 5 Star personalized service, making it a memorable dining experience. Regrettably cousin Joanne recently passed at a younger age of 48. I will always remember our happy gathering here ♥️“

“Probably the best Filipino food I have tried in LA. Authentic Filipino food with amazing flavor. Tasilog Kuya tray + Lucenachon was perfectly made.

The place is small and works like a cafeteria with counter service. The seating space is minimal but worth the wait to eat the food fresh.

Kid-friendliness: Small space. Not best for young child's that don't want to sit still

WE WERE SHOCKED TO LEARN, the Previous owner whom we knew well, had passed away 3 years ago and her restaurant was sold. It use to be called BAHAY KUBO.YESTERDAY was the first time we were back after maybe 4-5 years.Well, the food was good. No complaints. They have many entrees to choose from. Parking is tight, when any is available. Street parking is easy to find. But all in all, the new management is doing a fine job.Thanks.“

“Got the crispy pata and lechon kawali, both with java (garlic) rice. Everything was cooked crispy and juicy at the same time, Mang Tomas sauce and spiced vinegar included, and totally worth the price. Loved this place! Would come back again.“

“12.02.23 We were in the area and I googled Filipino food and this one was top three on options to consider. Service was the best - kind, caring, and really nice front counter reps. Plenty of combo options to choose from and pics on the side walls are pretty good help. Not exactly sure how to rate Atmosphere because the restaurant is inside 99 Ranch market. It's pretty clean eating area which is across the order area and past the spacious entrance.“

I bought a turon and a pandan hopia, totaling to $2. Both were warm (not partially but warm throughout which suggest they were either made very soon before or were kept in a heated environment) and tasted super fresh. I preferred the turon; the outside was crispy and caramelized, and the inside tasted like a plantain but also had jackfruit umami. The layers were clearly defined and the texture was great. Comparatively the pandan hopia was not as sweet, but the filling was soft and gooey. It’s not really a dough-y or bread-y texture but in between bread and pastry, so it was quite unique.“
