“Late Review, we dined here (party of 6) around Christmas Time 2022 to celebrate hubby's birthday and also meeting my newly wed cousin Joanne and hubby for the first time. I am very well pleased with the ambiance, like dining at my home's formal dining room. We ordered practically everything in their extensive menu. The food was served promptly and everything delicious !! Everyone enjoyed the feast. I would like to thank the owner especially for giving us a 5 Star personalized service, making it a memorable dining experience. Regrettably cousin Joanne recently passed at a younger age of 48. I will always remember our happy gathering here ♥️“

“Great food all around. I had a combo plate with beef kaldereta and lechon kawali — and the lechon was so dang good. Parking kind of sucks, though. There’s a small shared lot with fewer than 10 spots, so you may end up parking on the street if you’re lucky. That said, the food is absolutely worth the hassle.“

“The crispy pork rice bowl is the standout super flavorful, perfectly crispy, and so satisfying. The grilled chicken is good as well, just slightly on the dry side. Service is quick, smooth, and the staff is genuinely friendly. Highly recommend!“

“This place was a huge hit with my Filipino family and non-Filipino friends. It hit all the nostalgic cravings my family and I had while also satisfying the appetites of those not so familiar with the cuisine.
We ordered sisig, cebuchon (we are from Cebu so we had to!), crispy pata, karekare, fried bangus, ginataan, chicken inasal, lumpia sariwa and pancit bihon. The only down side was that they ran out of a lot of things - lumpia, bbq skewers, empanadas and sisig.
Service provided by one of the “Kuyas” was outstanding. Price was decent for the serving size and for LA. It is a casual sit-down spot with a quiet ambience. Will definitely come back.“

“Kubo is a quaint little restaurant that's very reminiscent of what you would call a Karinderia in the Philippines. The food was absolutely delicious, and the people working there was so so kind and generous 💕 I would definitely go here regularly if I was living in the area.“

“I was having a potluck at work and the suggestion they made for food was a nice Filipino dish/appetizer. Solid spot for Filipino food.
At work they wanted lumpia and this spot was able to do an order of 50 pieces & I called ahead. They were delicious and a big hit at the party.
I’d definitely order here again and try their other menu items.“

“12.02.23 We were in the area and I googled Filipino food and this one was top three on options to consider. Service was the best - kind, caring, and really nice front counter reps. Plenty of combo options to choose from and pics on the side walls are pretty good help. Not exactly sure how to rate Atmosphere because the restaurant is inside 99 Ranch market. It's pretty clean eating area which is across the order area and past the spacious entrance.“
“Good Filipino food with affordable price .My catering service on every occasion.“

“I don't know why it took me so long to write this review—honestly, I think part of me wanted to keep this gem a secret!
Bagnet Tea House Restaurant is absolutely amazing. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, making you feel exactly like you are part of a Filipino family. You can tell they take a lot of care with the details; the decor is incredibly attractive and sets the perfect mood.
The service here is incredible, but the food is the real star. It is always served fresh, hot, and ready to go. Best of all, the prices are extremely reasonable for the quality you get. Highly recommended if you want great food and a genuine, homey vibe.“
“Have been to Eagle Rock Kitchen many times and like it. Fast and friendly service, delicious and nutritious meals, vegan included. I recommend ERK whether your vegetarian or not. A lot of choices.“

“The folks who work here are always friendly. They’re always very warm and welcoming. Classic Filipino hospitality!! I’ve always said that Filipino food is best enjoyed out of someone’s home. Preferably, their grandmother’s!! This is as good as you can get without having to get an invitation or crashing your Filipino co-worker’s niece’s birthday Party!! Their kare-kare is on Point Point (see what I did there?! LOL)!! As well as the lechon kawali!! Literally tastes like my Mamang’s!! My one regret is that I don’t eat here often enough!! Highly Recommended!!“

“I have never ordered a roasted pig before. So this place was the closest one to me. I called the number to order a small roasted pig and the transaction was painless. They answered right away and gave me directions to put a small deposit. The prices are tax included so there's no secret fees. They had my order ready at the time that I requested and the place has a loading spot to park in to load the pig. The restaurant itself was beautifully decorated. Mandatory pay the rest of the pig in cash at the restaurant. The pig looked so beautifully cooked and it tasted delicious. The skin was so crunchy. My family loved the food. We have some leftover so for sure the price sheet suggesting how many people it fed is accurate. I would definitely order from here again.“

“Authentic Filipino. We ordered the Maki without noodles (9.50), Miki Bihon (9.50), Kikiam 2pcs (12.50). Paid around $40 including 3 canned drinks. Order the Kikiam. It was so good and really reminded us of home. The miki bihon was legit as well. I liked the Maki but my dad said it should not have ginger in it. Must try little hole in the wall.“
“Island Pacific Supermarket at 4641 Santa Monica Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90029 is truly a gem for anyone looking for authentic Filipino groceries and products. The building is big, wide, and very spacious, making it comfortable to shop even during busy hours. The store is very clean and well-organized, which makes finding items quick and easy.
They have an impressive variety of Filipino products—from sauces and spices to snacks, noodles, frozen goods, desserts, and baked treats you don’t always see in other markets. The seafood and meat section is excellent, offering fresh fish and other meats that are perfect for traditional Filipino dishes.
One of the best highlights is that they also have a restaurant inside where you can dine in after shopping. It's a great spot to enjoy delicious Filipino meals—perfect after grabbing everything you need for the week. The staff is generally friendly, helpful, and attentive, adding to the pleasant shopping experience.
Prices are fair, parking is convenient, and they often have great deals and promotions on popular Filipino staples. If you miss the flavors of home or want to explore Filipino cuisine, this is absolutely one of the best places to go in Los Angeles.
Highly recommended! 🌟🇵🇭“

“Small, but full little bakery. Fresh, warm pandesal available and I love the ube pandesal with halaya filling and this like sweet crumble on the top. Super good. My daughter calls it her purple bread lol. Very affordable too if I were closer I would be here all the time. Highly recommend! Be prepared though it’s CASH ONLY!
Kid-friendliness: Lots of stuff at child height to grab, but kids will love looking at all the treats!“

“Filipino heaven of desserts!!! The ube and pandan halo halo are very good. The portion is humongous for $8.00. The cheesecake ube is very moist and creamy. The big revelation was the ube bread pudding. It is a moist, flavorful, and perfect amount of sweetness. The staff were friendly!“

“I live in the central valley, but whenever I come down to Anaheim see my.mom and my sister, I stop by here. I love, love, love their karekare, macaroni salad and buko pandan. Those are only the few reasons why I go there instead of the others that are close by the freeway. Don't get me wrong, all the food are delicious and cooked fresh, but what really gets me to come everytime are the people there. They are so friendly and they always smile. They greet you and they even talked to you, nakakawala ng pagod sa mahabang biyahe. Thank you for being so kind to us. May kakwentuhan ka na, busog ka pa.“
