“If you're looking for a new cafe to try out in Citrus Heights, you have to check out Greenhouse Cafe! This place is fantastic, and I cannot recommend it enough. First of all, the banana nut muffin is absolutely delicious. It's the perfect blend of flavors and is moist and fluffy. I would go back just for this muffin alone! But there's so much more to try at Greenhouse Cafe. The menu is full of amazing options, from breakfast items like avocado toast and breakfast sandwiches to salads, sandwiches, and more. Everything is fresh, flavorful, and made with high-quality ingredients. Beyond the food, I was blown away by the generosity of the owner. I learned that the owner donated a lot of muffins to United Sikhs organization to help feed the homeless. This kind of kindness and generosity is truly admirable, and it only makes me want to support Greenhouse Cafe even more. Overall, if you're looking for a new go-to cafe in Citrus Heights, Greenhouse Cafe is definitely worth checking out. “This place was recommended by a friend for good beans. I bought 3 bags of beans, pastry and a cup of coffee, unfortunately coffee and pastry went in the trash because it tasted awful due to it being saturated in whatever awful smelling cleaner they use in the shop. I genuinely could not get rid of the smell and taste in my mouth. Please consider changing the cleaner your shop is using because it was unpleasant being in the shop and so sad i had to waste so much money. Other than that service was great and beautiful place to visit.“

“Excellent breakfast! The bacon is thick and tasty. I ask about raisin bread everywhere’s I go, no one ever has it, this place does! The cinnamon roll was a nice size, not so large to be obscene and had a nice flavor. My husband had the house made sausage patty and biscuit. He said both were quite good, good texture and flavor. The atmosphere is nice, not too loud, and has a nice train rolling around the wall. It was decorated for Easter very tastefully. Our new favorite place!“

We met the owner Gabriel; he was very kind and generous. We are visiting from Florida. As I was enjoying my gelato, all I kept thinking is that just like our vacation, I did not want this to end. “At first I thought google maps led me astray as I found myself in a Chevron gas station. However, the breakfast burrito is the best I’ve had in a while. A hearty size and fair price. Lots of options and again, a delicious burrito. I’ve gotten so sick of dry boring breakfast burritos but this was delightful. I’ll definitely be back.“

“This is a great "hidden" Citrus Heights gem of a cafe! Had their Wednesday special that was a Korean beef dish w/noodles, rice and gyoza for only $7.50. It was amazing and so much that it made two meals for me and my husband! Next day went in for their CA roll Thursday special that I got for my daughter. She loved it. They sell various salads and sandwiches too. I've had their BLT w/avocado twice, but the daily specials are the best. Pastries, fruit/yogurt cups, coffee, teas, etc available. The couple that runs the business is very kind. Located inside the hospital, next to the police department and across the street from Sam's Club.“

“Lianna at the counter was super helpful. She added an additional meat to my sandwich for me. She also provided me with a plastic cup and ice to go for free. The place is adorable, pretty affordable, and clean. The bathrooms were clean and nice. The bread on my sandwich was really good. Great consistency and flavor. We had sandwiches, a cherry tartlet, and a merengue roll. All were delicious. The coffee and tea we had were presented so nicely and tasted very good. We will go many miles out of our way to visit here whenever we drive through the area.“

“I eat at Huckleberry’s at least twice a month, today however my experience was not good to the point that I did not leave a tip and feel terrible about that. I went in around noon on Sunday, I knew it would be busy. I signed in for one and was told it would be a 10 minute wait. I sat there roughly 10 minutes. Two ladies came in signed in. Apparently they knew one of the waitress and were seated a few minutes later even though I was there before them. A waiter then approached the hostess and pointed at the clipboard, the hostess told him she was not going to seat one person in a booth. So I approached the hostess that initially signed me in and inquired why the two ladies were given a booth even though I was there before them, she didn’t know and looked for the waitress who sat them. The waitress proceeded to move them to a bigger booth to seat me. I was very disappointed. I realize it was not right to leave a tip but customers should not be given preferential treatment.“

“So thankful for Panera! I forgot to pick up bagels for a large group on the first day of school until the traditional local bagel places were wiped out. At 3:30pm Panera had a wide selection available and I was able to pick up 3 dozen in flavors that would be liked by hungry high schoolers. The bagels were the following morning and a hit with everyone in attendance. Thanks Panera for coming to my bagel rescue!“
