“New bar! Loved the atmosphere and vibes. Great music, cool seats, good food menu selection. They have TVs all around and Host the ‘UFC’ and ‘Boxing’ matches. The place was very clean. Jen ‘The Bartender’ was very informative, kind, welcoming and hospitable. Definitely (The New Hot Spot) to check out.Parking: Metered parking outside is free after 8pm. I saw “Animal sleep” and they were a chaotic group which happened to be really good.. “Came here to watch some college football. Very nice mellow atmosphere, fantastic service and very accommodating when asked to put on a certain game. Three of the four that came with ordered an outstanding nachos plate and I had the chicken avocado salad which was really just okay. I'll try something different next time. But all in all really a great place and really friendly service. I'll be back!“

“It's a cool place to go to on a weekend if you like playing pool. They have a small bar with most of the drinks and simple finger foods as well. The owner here seems a bit irritated and not friendly at all. But overall the business itself isnt bad plus they open late.“

I was quick to befriend a comedian who informed me that the White Russian drinks they make are good. Their prices are extremely reasonable compared to most bars in LA. “Driven past this spot for years. So I decided to take the plunge, so to speak and have a go at it. I tried their fish and chips, and they were amazing. The portions were awesome and well priced. The service was fast and friendly. It was pretty busy, but my food was out pretty quick. The peri peri sauce was a new find for me and I'll get that in the future. “Islands is a classic family favorite. I miss the giant birds that they had at the old location back in the day, however the modern day Islands is fresh take on the beachy island vibe of yesteryear. They have a spacious outdoor patio, bar space and plenty of booths inside. The menu has changed quite a bit over time (they have a burrito on the menu now?), but they are typically known for their burgers and fries. Their fries are so good and they always come in a large portion. I can never get enough! I ordered the big wave and the kid's burger for my son. For your burger you have a choice of bun (wheat or white) or you can do it lettuce wrapped. I thought the kids menu had a lot of great options for littles. My son really liked his side of pineapple! However his burger was SO salty. It was saltier than my big wave burger was, so not sure if this was a fluke or the kids burgers are just saltier. Didn't love it. I enjoyed my big wave. It's exactly what you would expect and the veggies on it tasted crisp and fresh. Service was great too! Our waiter was very friendly and attentive. Overall the restaurant was clean and the atmosphere is enjoyable. I come here more for the nostalgia of it but I do crave their fries often!“

“This place is a little treasure. I went because my kid had a gig there. I absolutely loved it. I enjoyed the other music that was played there. The food was actually pretty good for a bar and the parking was fantastic (which is huge). But honestly, I was super impressed with the staff. My daughter played there again one Sunday, and the bartender (James) remembered my drink from the first time. I was so impressed. That guy made sure everyone - I mean EVERYONE -had everything they needed. All the staff was great. Plus, there's plenty of places to sit if you don't want to be right next to the music or if you are someone who wants to hide in the background. I don't think I would have found this place if my kid hadn't played there, but now I come back when she isn't playing, and it is a great little place to hear new bands and just chill and relax. I recommend UBG to anyone who wants to go and feel like you are in a "Cheers"-like atmosphere where people may even remember your drink or your name.“

“I love this bar! Especially when Candace, Kaylee, or Liberty is working. I walk in and they know exactly what to pour for me. They have 2 pool tables and 3 dart boards all at the best prices in the SCV. They also have an amazing DJ on Friday nights. The only complaint that I can even come up is that the women's bathroom only has one stall but that's still not even really a complaint because the bathroom, although small, is cleaner than at any other bar that I have been in. I have met the bar owner and he's really nice too. Check them out. Especially on a Friday night!!!“

“The starbar is right next door to the u haul location where I Frequently I've been going to in the last couple weeks. Because I'm moving out of my house. I've never been to this establishment, but I hear the owners are really good people and they have couple t. Vs, and I'm sure they have really good drinks. I don't drink myself but I'm sure others do and would find this place relaxing although it is on. Deventure itself and when you're next to a busy street. You do get a lot of bad air from cars and tires. But other than that it's a great place.“

Nethol was our server tonight and not only does he have a great attitude and personality, additionally his service can't be beat. Nethol is no doubt an asset to that Islands and anywhere else his life destinations may take him. My foodie friends and I are very fortunate that our Santa Clarita Islands rocks! “Been going here for years, the waiters are super friendly and always helpful. but sometimes the chef does change up the way some things are cooked which is fine but it takes a while to get out sometimes. if its your first time here get the oggi sticks, wouldn't expect it but they're delicious. the place is also a good spot to watch football on sundays if you want a spot to cheer for your team. 100% would recommend.“
