“I have been Jonesin for for a lobster roll. I ordered the lobster and cheese sandwich, thinking it would be a grilled cheese with a dash of lobster. Boy, was I wrong! It has a generous helping of lobster, the right amount of cheese and perfect on sourdough! This went well with a black and tan, along with some delicious cheesy tots! This is a really nice, friendly pub and I will be back!!“

“This took me far too long to write, but I wanted to find the right words to say. My husband and I had been waiting two long years to get married. We postponed twice because of the pandemic and in the course of that time changed our venue to San Benito House. Let me tell you, that was the BEST decision we ever made. Not only is the venue itself incredibly beautiful and the food so delicious, but Kai and his staff bent over backwards for us and all of our guests. Kai is the ultimate hype guy and he took what normally would have been a stressful event to plan, and made it so easy and fun. I would (and will) recommend that anyone who is wanting a Half Moon Bay wedding, that this is the ultimate place to go. Our guests are still talking about the day and if we could, we’d do it 1000 times over just to experience the magic again. Thank you, thank you, thank you! “Great pub with a beautiful beer garden in the back. It was a perfect spot to hang out with a larger group. They didn't have food in the middle of the day, but the manager was extremely helpful and suggested nearby places we could bring in food from. The beers on tap were great as well. Be warned it is cash only. The whole place had a fun atmosphere and great hospitality. I'd highly recommend it even midday to grab some beers and hang out with friends!“

“My first time experience here was amazing, my husband took us here on Valentine's Day and I was very impressed. I love how romantic and the vibe here was great! They had a DJ playing all the great old school hip hop. Their fixed course meal was amazing, more food than I expected, the servers were great even it was a busy night we still got checked on and if we edge doing fine, which is totally a big deal when it comes to customer service for me. I would love to try out their brunch one day !“
