“In Hanford, Ca., there are a few authentic Mexican food options. Jalisco is a simple walk up counter where you order your food exactly the way you want it. Burritos, taquitos (get there early), tamales, carnitas etc. Their Burritos are huge and include beans, rice, salsa (you can get this on the side) and your choice of meats or Chile Verde. Simple tasty food. It's one of the best options for a quick lunch. There are no tables available here so don't plan for a sit down. Try this out when you're looking for a tasty lunch. They're right at the end of main street near 10th Ave.“

“Food was all hot and delicious, and the service was amazing even though it was a lunch rush. Server was great with my one year old too, bringing a high chair right away as we were seated and making sure there was room for our food on the table before setting it down too close so he didn't burn his hand or mouth and even bringing him a small plate for us to put food on.

“The other day I went with a friend to eat there at Dennys. I was so amazed ? at the hospitailty we received. I wish I had $100.00 to give to the sweet waitress. Stephanie was so polite, friendly, patient with us ordering. So we asked to speak with her manager Joana and she was also very polite we just enjoyed talking with them. I was having such a nice time. Then we made it down a chain reaction lol and spoke with her manager Frankie, I told them 3 that my dad taught me to give credit were credit is due. Excellent service and food. “Been here many times and loved each visit. This time I had the linguine and clams and the misses had the portobello ravioli. Delicious. Well put together. Also recommend the calamari appetizer along with brussel sprouts. The rib eye with the bourbon sauce is a greay choice. Can't go wrong with the seafood and stroganoff pastas. The lamb chops and pork chop plates are another good choice. Don't forget the bar. Cocktails are on point here.“

“I am a foodie visiting Hanford from San Diego. I was very skeptical about this restaurant, however, I really wanted Mexican food and El Tarasco was one of the fiew open (outdoor dining tables). I was shocked with the quality I received. The chile rellenos are EXCELLENT (my benchmark----a fresh grilled pepper, high quality cheese, and not at all greasy). The margaritas were first-class, made in the restaurant rather than some inspid mix. They were $11 which is steep (especially for Hanford) but they are nearly twice the size of other, and they were served in a gorgeous Mexican hand blown glass. The servers were very friendly....always stopping to check if I needed anything. The only negative were the chips. They fry them there but I'm not keen on the actual tortilla they use......it didn't have a lot of flavor. This place is the real-deal winner. Bravo!“

“One of the most popular pizzas here is called "the Boston Special," and it would be safe to say this has been a dominant pizza in my area of Central California for a long time.I feel like Boston Pizza & Fatty Albert's Pizza are in competition to have the best large combination pizzas in this area.The next category would include Round Table Pizza & Mountain Mike's.Everything else is pretty much garbage.I know that taste is subjective, but I can tell you that a large portion of people in the area feel this way.Try the Boston special and I also recommend their steak sandwich.
