“Runway Cafe is one of the best treasures the valley has to offer! It is hard to find places to eat with our four legged fur babies. They have excellent service, wonderful setting, and consistant solid quality food. We eat here most Sundays. It is our family Sunday outing. Our dogs go nuts whining when we get close. The staff are like family. There is indoor and outdoor seating year-round. In the winter during the rainy days, we sit in the seats under the awning, during cold weather they have heaters, and in the heat of the summer they have a huge cooler blowing a cool breeze across the porch. If you are lucky, you will see a plane take off or land. Runway is a small, off the beaten path treasure worth the drive. I give it my highest rating.“

“First visit to Tacos Melaque, and even though it was completely packed, the experience was excellent! Silvia greeted us in line right when it was our turn, brought us the menu, and made us feel very welcome. Even with the wait, she invited us to enjoy our meal there, and once we got a table, our food came out quickly!
The green chilaquiles were a total hit! Great food, great service, and Silvia’s hospitality made our first visit a memorable one. We’ll definitely be back!“

“It's a typical American diner with an overwhelming menu - almost all things you can imagine are there! We had breakfast - waffles with apples and pancakes with bacon and egg. All was freshly made and tasty. Lovely staff, very eager to suggest something, helpful. The place itself is a bit vintage, a bit kitchy (a lot of random apple figures, paintings, etc), but it has its charm as well! Overall, that was a nice spot to have breakfast before hitting the road.“

“Very good food! I was really surprised to find this hole in the wall in visalia california haha. They were very accomodating to vegan requests and the food was phenomenal. “Grannys is a great place to eat. The food is good and the portions are a nice size. Unfortunately because of Bidenomics they have had to make some changes to price and portion sizes. It’s not their fault it’s just the way it is at the moment. As far as service goes, it all depends on who’s working. If Kristin (owner)is there you are going to get great service. She wants you to return. She gets it. Unfortunately if Renee (owner)is there service can vary depending on who’s in the restaurant. She seems to be very chatty; and that’s the problem. She forgets shes working and service suffers. We will drive up, look in the window to see who’s working. It’s gotten that bad.“

“Not sure what wizardry is happening in their kitchen, but holy Hera the food is fabulous. We are on the road for about 6 hours and rolled into Exeter for work late… starving about an hour before closing. Dinner was most excellent.. that potion they call salsa is fantastic… we went back the next day with our client in tow .. :-) .. but that salsa … got a tub to take home (safely cradled in its own seatbelt all the way back home). I’d say this place is well worth the drive and overnight stay in town 😎. As to what to recommend… all of it ..“

“Good food and dining experience, save for exceptions, given that some people and their newborn children were dining in the same area that I would be, using the flat screen for preschool media on YouTube. Preschool media and I do not mix, and it's one of the causes for my anxieties. I felt very uncomfortable mentally, and I sort of, but not really, got the impression that I was at a daycare place instead of a diner. I really don't want history repeating itself. The fact that there are password-protected Wi-Fi networks for the restaurant showing up on my iPhone is not helping. I could barely access my YouTube app and look at videos to drown so much out. Aside from that, there have been other unique dining experiences here, and I'm willing to recommend it. I just needed to get that negative experience off my chest. “The food and customer service are generally excellent! However, today a waitress tried to charge me for a refill of my to-go cup of strawberry lemonade. I typically request this and have never been charged for a water/lemon refill. Thankfully, one of the more experienced waitresses stepped in and took care of the refill for me. 🙌🏻“

“We stopped at Chapala Grill while visiting Visalia and absolutely loved it! The service was friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome from the start.

The bean dip, salsa, and chips were a great way to kick off the meal. The chicken enchiladas were so tender they practically melted in your mouth. Even the beans and rice were amazing, sometimes those sides are an afterthought, but not here!

One of our dishes came with a slaw, pineapple, and salad mix that was something new for me. It was fresh, delicious, and the perfect way to cool down after a few bites of a spicier dish.

We don't get this type of Mexican food where we live, so whenever we're in California, we make sure to enjoy it while we can. Chapala Grill did not disappoint. Great food, great service, and we'll definitely be back the next time we're in the area. A+++“

“It's a very nice little place to eat. They have both the people that run it are very friendly. They have a meetings and stuff back in the back for the city council. And stuff, when they meet, but it is very quaint, very nice and they have good breakfast and good lunch. And I go in there and I have for breakfast. I have a linguisa omelet and you sit down there. They know what I like to drink. They bring it to the table. They know me because I've been going in there. But it's a good place you ever come through Exeter, stop at the east-west and eat breakfast or lunch. They're closed on Mondays. That's the only day they're closed. Like, I say, the couple that run, it are very friendly, very nice.“
