“Its a cool little donut shop open late when i needed him to be i start work at 4 am and its on the way the owner let me pick a donut which i payed for then he picked one for me and boy what a pick and no charge on that one. Not a lot of talk just a good feeling the rest of the way to work.“

Next time I come in I will get one of the gelato flavors, or a fruit cup or even a smoothie. There was an abundance of flavors. All were really great quality ice cream and gelato’s. They were even savory snack choices. Great for kids after school, families, couples, etc. There was plenty of inside seating. The parking lot was small however, there were spots available. “Coming out of Yelp retirement to share how much I LOVE Mellow Tea! It's a local, family-owned business that serves up some of the most delicious drinks in Redondo Beach. The owners are a set of siblings with Joey being the mastermind behind their drink menu and day-to-day operations. The shop is very spacious with cute furniture, a swing with flower decorations, and a cat mural that is too cute for words. You can tell this family put a lot of thought into their business. They want you to hang out there and relax while sipping on their delicious drinks and eating their egg waffles! Those are so hard to find outside of SGV area, but Mellow has it! WHAT?! Besides the usual staples of milk teas and fruit teas, Mellow also offers drinks with cheese foam that is out of this world, fruity blended drinks, and a magical taro drink. Before Mellow Tea, I was also a taro lover. HOWEVER, their taro drink is very rich and creamy...I thought I was eating ice cream. I watched the barista blend real taro cubes (NOT POWDER), which is what sets them apart. It turns out the owners buy fresh ingredients every day to ensure top-quality drinks. Seriously, check them out! Parking is FREE in a covered garage with 2 entrances off PCH. I never have any issues finding a spot (which are all pretty wide). Maybe it's because most folks who drive through might mistakenly think they're not allowed to park in the structure, but they actually are fine.“

The Bionicos were fresh and tasty, the small was enough for 2 people, so share with a friend. I had a nice conversation with the young lady running the place with her family. They have a nice variety of sandwiches; we’ve tried their cold sandwiches and paninis when it was available before and they were all great! All their sandwiches are customizable and the ingredients especially the bread are fresh. Delivery is on time. Great communication from placing order until the day of delivery. Even just their selection of chocolate options was impressive (over 20). I decided on two scoops: -Chocoholic Chunk - dark chocolate ice cream with dark chocolate chips -Midnight Madness - dark chocolate ice cream with peanut butter Oreos and Reese's Peanut Butter Cups Both flavors were so chocolatey and rich, with just the right amount of sweetness. The ice cream tasted fresh and from good quality ingredients. I think a lot of times it's tough to maintain the quality of a product when there are so many options, but this place did it well (at least for the flavors I had). He made several suggestions and my wife settled in the fish and chips, sweet potato pound cake and RJ suggested the strawberry smoothie for me. My wife loves mushrooms and I can’t stand them, but RJ convinced me to try the “fish” which is made from mushrooms. It actually wasn’t bad at all. She let me and my co worker sample the drinks before deciding which one to get, and she makes the best organic Acai bowls. On the other note, we came back one day for lunch and I'm not sure what the lady name was that was there, she was so rude and we have not been back since. I wish Jennifer was there daily because I really loved the way her energy was and the way she made our bowl and drinks.“

Last time I went to @koolberryx a few weeks ago I was so happy when the young lady working told me that every Monday they do 20% off. Yayyy... I made a mental note and vowed to come back every Monday I was in town, which is about every other Monday. Went today only to see they were closed. I hadn't been on Yelp to see they had changed their hours a few days ago. Signage outside still indicates they would be open. Disappointed there aren't other açaí bowl options nearby. (If you know of one tell me!) The only thing else that satisfies a craving is a fruit/ vegetable juice, like Juice Lab, but they are also closed for a "remodel". Bixby knolls needs more options like this. I hope both places stay open for the long term, but the change in hours makes me nervous.“

“Flex protein house is such a hidden gem. I'm so happy I decided to try it out. They have so many options much more than what I thought because I went in for a meal replacement shake, but they have electrolyte drinks. They have pre-workout drinks they have post workout drinks they have during workout drinks they have Meal replacement detox shots they have refreshers they even have protein donuts, which were so delicious. The inside is a very nice upscale lounge vibe with tables, chairs, and inside that mini basketball game. Overall, the vibes were great and I will definitely be coming back.!“

“This is my FAVORITE smoothie bowl place in California. Saying that they are perfect is an understatement. Their fruit is beyond fresh, juicy, and sweet. Every time I visit Manhattan Beach, Paradise Bowls is a must-stop location for my friends and I. (As seen in the pictures below I've gone 3+ times and that shows how good they are). My favorite bowl here is the Peach Bum bowl, its ingredients are super well-curated and the fruits complement each other perfectly. The menu is pretty extensive and goes beyond just smoothie bowls. The prices are pretty affordable and typical for a smoothie bowl, around $10 for a size small. My photos feature the small size and there is still a pretty big portion despite its "small" labeling. The service is good, with staff being efficient. The bowls came out pretty quickly! The ambiance of the store is super cute, beachy, and has a surf shack vibe to it, perfect for the beach! The views right next to the store are extremely gorgeous featuring the Manhattan Beach coastline. This store is located close to the sand, where you can bring your bowls to picnic right next to the Pacific waves.“

They had a couple of seating areas and the noise level is pretty quiet(unless it gets busy) and their background music isn't loud. Perfect location since it's right across Lunasia(Dim Sum restaurant) Their customer service is great! They were nice and helpful. No complaints about anyone :DI usually ordered their Fresh Taro Latte or Sweet Taro Sago Latter Frappe and they never disappoint. I would highly recommend their taro drinks if you're a taro lover. There are a wide variety of juices to choose from which makes it very convenient. The staff is always friendly and helpful. There’s curbside temporary parking right in front of the store. There’s also a table right outside if you want to enjoy your juice while there. They also play good music everytime I’ve gone in. I also like that they recycle their bottles so you get points/discount for returning them.“
