I decided to try this place out cause I was craving Mexican. After arriving, I was greeted by the sweetest man ever. He was a one man team and boy were his prices so affordable. This place is CASH ONLY though so make sure to have some on you. I decided to give this place a shot and after ordering, he went off to the back and cooked my meal. It took only around 10-15 minutes. This place is seriously one of the best Mexican food spots in all of LA!! The customer service is AMAZING every time & the food is out of this world delicious!! The best carnitas I’ve ever had. Sooo juicy & flavorful. You HAVE to get the hard tacos. Love love loveeee this place!

I was visiting SoCal and wanted some good mexican food. When I was looking at places, this place had some really good comments so I decided to go. La Gordita is a very small place, A rated, and only accepts cash. I ordered Chili Verde, the portion was generous and it was fantastic, the meat was very tender and the rice and refried beans were great as well. This is a small family run business and I would highly recommend La Gordita. Great job!!
