This is my go-to El Pollo Loco. The quality of the food is always great, I kind of miss their Loco Tenders that they had for a limited time. The Pollo Bowl is a great value, just $5 and I think $5.99 for the combo, but there's too much rice and beans at the bottom for me. The service for in-store pickup and drive-thru is always great, the staff are nice and polite. They're very helpful in letting me use coupons and scan my app barcode. I like this place, but unfortunately the chicken is always dry and not juicy, it feels like it has been cooked all day.
About a week ago I tried the chicken tenders I was surprised they were very very good they're better than canes chicken tenders. They were juicier, cane's tenders seem to be a little drier. I wanted to try the spicy but I was afraid that it might be too hot and it would ruin the whole thing and I wouldn't have any dinner to eat so I opted for two original and one done spicy so I could find out whether or not I like the spicy.
