“While on work trips to Southern California I often use a restaurant delivery service called LA Bites. On a recent trip I ordered some Thai food from Smile Thai and was pleasantly surprised. The delivery to my hotel was quick and the food hot, fresh and delicious. The servings were quite large and I had more than enough for 3 meals. I don't know about the service in the restaurant itself but certainly can attest to the fact that their to go food was outstanding. I will definitely order from them again.“

“Delicious, top notch flavor! This is probably the best Thai food I've ever had. My partner and I are slowly working our way through the menu and so far we've had: Pad Kee Mao, Tom Kha chicken soup, Tom Yum chicken soup, Kaprao, Green Curry with chicken, and the mango sticky rice.

I think my favorite has been the Tom Kha soup. The coconut and lime base is such an addictive flavor profile and I was thinking about it for days afterwards.

“I've been eating here since I was around 12 years old. Raised in Torrance, this was my go-to-place for a dinner that just hits the spot. I love all the soup, noodle, and rice dishes, I think I've tried every chicken and vegetarian dish this place has to offer. I don't live in Torrance anymore, but whenever I come back to visit family I never fail to stop by here to eat, still tastes sooo good! “We had a great meal at Ubon for lunch. The food was very fresh and flavorful and they had some unique options on the menu. The server was a very nice gentleman who made good suggestions. The dining room is pretty compact and I imagine they get pretty busy as the food is excellent. The peanut sauce with the fresh rolls is very distinct and better than others I have tried while the crying tiger beef is extremely tender and comes with another excellent sauce. The Tom Yum broth was perfection and the sizzling seafood was very tender and tasty and not super spicy but a bit of a kick. Overall this is a great place to grab a meal while shopping or anytime. The location is the far corner of the shopping center back near the in and out burger and mini IHOP. This is some great tasting Thai food with big flavors.. the prices are reasonable. There is plenty of parking in the shopping center which is all free of course. Overall this place was great and we will be back to try more of the menu at Ubon Thai Kitchen.“

“I've been eating at this Thai spot for about a year. I've eaten here at least 10 times and it has hit every time. Amazing food, great service, and affordable prices.

The pad thai and panang curry are top tier. I recently tried the Bangkok sidewalk favorite (similar to gra pow at other restaurants) and it was 10/10.

“Hidden garden is a hidden gem here in torrance. It’s a place where you can bring a date and have good thai food, without breaking the bank! The lady server was so helpful and accommodating. Atmosphere is upscale. Food.. awesome!

“The Dragonfly Thai is a local takeout/ eat -in establishment. Hubby and I ordered two different dishes. His was flavorful and well-received (Thai Kung Pao). Mine, Pad Thai with tofu, was rather bland and I needed to keep adding additional sauces to enhance the noodles. I ordered extra vegetables (paid extra) - and frankly it was hard to see what were the extra veggies and which were the ones that came with the dish. The staff were very kind and business was busy. I would go back - but not order the Pad Thai.“

“Happy Thai makes me happy.

While I haven't had the opportunity to dine in (yet), l've been able to order for pickup on several occasions.

Every time I call in, I get a friendly voice on the other side of the phone. They take my order, give me an estimated time for pick up and I'm there.

Their time estimates are on point as my order's usually ready by the time l arrive but on the very few times it's not; it's usually ready in no more than a couple of minutes.

Everything I've had is tasty but typically I alternate between the Pad Thai and the Pad See Ew depending on my mood. Sometimes I’m feeling a little wild and I get both. Thai food makes for some of the best leftovers so no regrets. Everything is cooked to perfection and as expected with Thai food, very flavorful.

They even have desert if you have a sweet tooth, it's hard to go wrong with their mango sticky rice... that is unless you don't like mango, rice or sticky things.

The staff is friendly, the prices and portions are great and best of all, the food is delicious!
If you're in the area and are looking for some good Thai food, Happy Thai is an excellent choice.“

“Love this place. I order from them on DoorDash often. Their food is tasty, and more importantly I haven’t had any tummy issues, which makes me feel they’re taking care when preparing it, which is more than I can say for some other restaurants I’ve eaten at. Here are the items I’ve tried:

We’ve dined here twice now, and both times we ordered the combo Pad Thai and the chicken green curry—both were excellent. The portions are generous, packed with protein, and full of flavor. I’m particular about Pad Thai; I don’t like it overly saucy, but I also don’t want it too dry. This one strikes the perfect balance, making it just right for me.

“Phi Thai Eatery is surprisingly good. We had the green curry, tom yum soup, pad thai, pad see ew, and veggie spring rolls, all of which they were able to make vegan and all of which were delicious. It was a life-saving meal after midnight when there’s almost nothing else open that has vegan fare, much less scrumptious, spicy eats like you find here!“
