“I recently had my wedding at Wedgewood Wedding Rio Hondo in Downey in May, after a year of meticulous planning with their team. I am delighted to give the venue a 4-star rating. The sales and planning coordination team were exemplary, especially David and Tamica, who were consistently responsive through email and communication.The venue itself is stunning, and May proved to be the perfect time for a wedding. We chose Wedgewood Rio Hondo primarily due to its convenient location and its nearly all-in-one solution. While I had to handle many wedding details myself, the ability to choose from a selection of vendors within a single package was a significant advantage.David, our coordinator, was exceptional. He made the entire process stress-free and even assisted with my bridal veil hair accessory, which was a thoughtful touch.The only slight downside was the reception. Our guests experienced a longer wait for their food, and the taste was somewhat mediocre, despite opting for duel plated meals.Overall, I give Wedgewood Wedding Rio Hondo a solid 4/5, largely due to the outstanding efforts of David and the rest of the sales and coordination team.“
“Above All Catering was instrumental in making our wedding a hit, and a huge part of that was thanks to Danielle. She was so communicative, responsive, and really took the time to understand who we are as a couple - making sure the menu reflected that perfectly. The food not only tasted amazing, but felt so us.
Our guests are still raving about the hamachi crudo from cocktail hour (so fresh and flavorful!) and the pasta station was such a fun, interactive touch. The cocktails were also no joke - strong and well-balanced, just the way we like them.
Service was smooth, professional, and totally stress-free. Multiple people told us it was the best wedding food they've ever had. We couldn't agree more!“

“I've tried just about everything on the menu at Shady Grove Foods and nothing disappoints. I can close my eyes and put my finger on the menu and I would be happy wherever it landed. I had Sticky Bones again tonight and I'm as thrilled as the first time I tried them and all the other times I've had them and in fact I feel like tonight's were the best ever. I seriously enjoy their food and hospitality. The hardest part is driving back to Cal Heights without opening the box and start eating. Compliments to the whole staff and guys cooking it up in the back. It's about to get even better real soon. I can't wait. Stay tuned. . . .“
“The most incredible catering company ever! I used TGIS for my wedding in Malibu. They were the most professional, organized and responsible company. All of my guests raved about the food, the bartenders were so fun and on it, and the timing was seamless. Jeremy goes out of his way to make you feel calm and taken care of. “My first time here and the owner was welcoming and friendly. I ordered a pan fried seafood egg noodles party tray and it was amazingly delicious. The flavor was on point and egg noodles had a nice al dente chewy texture with wok hei taste. I also ordered pork and shrimp egg rolls and they were crispy and flavorful as well.

“Great little place with delicious food. A wide variety to please everyone in the family. I tried their sandwiches, club ans pastrami both delicious. We've tried ther breakfast burritos and it is delicious. We tried their Koren menu and everyone else was happy with their choice. Prices are very reasonable! “It’s a modest place in a small strip mall that I’ve been visiting since I was a teenager. Franco’s is a good place to enjoy fine Italian food. I really enjoyed the “Franco’s Special” stuffed chicken breast. Service is great, prices are reasonable. Plenty of free parking too.“

“My roommate decided to try the coffee after hearing about it through a friend in CA (we are in RI). My roommate says it is by far one of the best coffees he has ever tasted. Very aromatic! Smooth and just, well, a must try! It was also ground well, packaging was great, delivery was on time. Website was easy to use. We'll be back for another shipment!“

“Cena Vegan is sort of a staple for vegan Mexican food if you’re in the Southern California area. I was impressed by the cloud kitchen set up here in Long Beach. The food hall is quite nice and well kept. There is a receptionist available for instruction if you’re unfamiliar with how cloud kitchens work. And of course, the food from Cena Vegan is always top notch.“

“I've been coming here for the past 25+ years. This place has the best tacos and Mexican food in the area hands down. I personally like the hurache and the quesedilla Hecha a Mano. Get the spicy salsa and your meat of choice. You cannot go wrong with anything on the menu here. Fresh and authentic is what you'll get everytime.“

“I celebrated my 60th birthday few weeks ago and I can’t recommended it enough. Great location, beautiful inside, outside area is very clean, plenty of parking and very private. The food was great and believe me you will not be disappointed. The staff was very nice and easy to work with in particular the two ladies that worked with me and help me to put together my party in a short period of time, Roberta and Sandra….Roberta in particular has a good sense when it comes to ideas to decorate… you just need to tell her what theme you want for your party and she make sure that everything goes accordingly to your taste. She listened and within your ideas and her inputs I can guarantee you that everything will come out BEAUTIFUL. My theme was “Havana Night “ and everything came out better than I expected…So if you look for a place to have fun and created memories that will last forever, I would highly recommended this place !!“

“I ordered my vegan birthday cake one week ahead of the date needed, and the cake was ready on time for pick up. This vegan baker is an artist, and working with her to design the cake was very easy, I let her lead the process and the cake was incredibly beautiful.
I don’t think I could have gotten a more beautiful cake even in Los Angeles City.
The cake was delicious, moist, flavorful and a decadent treat. The pickup was quick, and packed to perfection including a no slide patch in side the box so the decorations were not damaged in transport. Decor, a candle, matches, and a cutting knife were all included. The whole process was top notch professional. The attention to detail and presentation showed this bakers passion for her work. I feel that the price was 100% worth it, and competitive for the going rate. The party was awed by the cake, so money well spent. I will definitely be ordering again! Too bad I didn’t get a photo before we cut the cake!
I almost forgot to mention that when the cake was served, the room fell silent because everyone was taken away with how yummy the cake was.“

“Crab meat gimbop is so good. $8 for 2 rows is very reasonable nowadays as some gimbop place charge $7 for one row. New owners are very friendly as compared to the previous owner. They can even cater single row gimbop packages for $4 and they are perfect for small church gathering.“
“This caterer came through for me when I had to find a caterer for Korean food dosiraks (packaged meal trays) in a short amount of time. Communication and service was great and they easily accommodated to our needs for the menu (I spoke mainly in Korean with them). And the food was delicious!! I would cater from them again!!“

“I LOVE this place. Patty and the crew are always welcoming. Even when they’re busy!
Their cornbread hits different as it’s not the typical cornbread some of you think. EVERY thing on the menu is good. I literally tried everything. When the banana pudding ice cream is in stock, do yourself a favor and grab one if you can!
I moved out of California and fly out here every month. Always do my best to make a pit stop here before flying back. That’s how good it is!“
