“Walked in and an woman yells at me “WHAT U WANT!” My reply, “ Can I see the menu?” Woman’s reply, “CHICKEN RICE ONLY!” Me, Okay that’s what I want. Woman, “sit!” She pauses the Pakistani TV show she was watching and after a few minutes walks out with a tray of Biryani that would feed four people. It was really really good! What I liked was that it’s not toned down for the local Palate. She really friendly too. The menu is limited and on the day I walked in it was chicken rice day. For the chicken tikka she said call ahead and they will make it for you. I will try it soon.“

“I recently purchased food from here while attending a conference in the city of Los angeles. It was truly fall off the bone deliciously seasoned chicken. The chicken was tender and juicy. It was a little difficult to separate out some of the smaller Bones from the half chicken but I got through it and enjoyed that I could rend the flesh with my hands because I did not have a knife and fork (I do not mind this it made me feel cool to eat it manually). The bread was spectacular and was baked to a degree of fluffiness that I have not experienced in another bread. I got it with hummus and pickled turnips which were pretty delectable, very toothesome and vibrantly colored. The sauces I chose were the tahini and the red sauce which were both nice accents on the food. I also got a delicious mint lemonade which was the perfect amount of sweet and tart with a nice cool mint flavor.

It is so difficult nowadays to find truly authentic Middle Eastern food, oftentimes it is just a poor imitation co-opted and misappropriated by people from northern Europe who think they have a claim to the land. That's why I am so glad you have gotten food from Jerusalem Chicken where I could tell it was cooked by people truly native to the land.“

“We came across this restaurant by surprise and love this Chutney restaurant. Not many places have Haleem and Nihari, but this one does! Everything we had was delicious. We ordered quite a few dishes, especially the whole tandoori chicken. The naan was hot, fluffy, and full of the aroma of garlic. The owner was friendly, courteous, and very humble and the price was very affordable.

Parking: There are plenty of meter parking around the Resturant.“

“The staff are pretty cool and friendly. I tried the honey butter chicken sandwich. It was really good! I loved the honey butter dripping on my hands, and the chicken was juicy and flavorful. My son loved his chicken strips and fries as well, except the medium turned out to be a little too spicy for him. We don't live in the area, but it was a nice spot for us to stop by for a quick lunch.“

We thought we'd "give it a try" after our other dinner plans fell through and it's the greatest find we've made in years. A truly unforgettable experience, the food feels like a more authentic take on the americanized Indian cuisine you'll find at most other spots. The amount of flavor packed into each bite is impressive to say the least. The service is top notch, I assume it's a family business as it's rare to see this level of passion and care elsewhere. We grabbed combo with 2 chicken sandwich and fries. My hubby got the mild and I got hot. Didn't think it would be like fuego in your mouth but it sure was good. The worker then said " too spicy" ,I said yes and no. She then said it was the green reaper chili they use on their sandwiches. Then she then suggested I try their RIP...I was like next time we come I will 😬😬😬. Try their food if you like spicy and can take the heat then stop by. Food had flavor and was delicious. You won't find another place in Los Angeles that serves biryani with such an authentic and flavorful taste. Just real authentic food without all the pretense of some of the beach city places that supposedly sell "Indian" food. The lunch buffet is reasonably priced and always well stocked and the wait staff are very pleasant and attentive to all our needs.“

“Indians right on the way to the pier with nice outdoor seating. Map clear, service friendly and attentive. It was a little cooler in the evening and we had our own heater at the table. Cocktails ? well mixed and round off an evening on site. The food was well seasoned and the size was appropriate for the price/performance ratio. We always find a place and there is always a place to sit for a longer time - check only when asked and not, as is often the case, directly at the table - so this is particularly pleasant for European guests... Parking at the pier is subject to a charge depending on time/day $5-20

Parking: 3min walk from the pier/parking lot. Fees apply. On public holidays it can be crowded in the evenings but never a problem during the week“

“My husband and I loved the Philly cheesesteaks! We met the owner, Sergio, and his wife. They are the sweetest couple! The food was delicious and the friendly interactions were great. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a filling meal and a reasonable price! We got two Philly cheesesteaks, one with fries and the other with potato salad, and a large fountain drink to share. Total was $33. They had just enough jalapeños to give that spice, but not too many that it was distracting from the other ingredients. Come check them out!“

“Very yummy! Had the #3 Combo with Snapper and Shrimp. Everything was cooked perfectly. The coleslaw was good, probably would have been better if I let it sit at room temperature for a minute. Wish they made the tartar sauce instead of the packets. Will definitely be back.“
