Alonso certainly caught my attention but my initial thoughts were - there's no way they would have anything for a vegan to consume. Welp, I was wrong, and I'm glad I checked. They actually offer a wonderful slice of Vegan Pumpkin Bread ($4.25) that I could not refuse. It was their only vegan friendly option (I checked) but given that it was something intentionally made for plant based eaters, I was willing to treat myself just for today. We found them at San Mateo farmers market. Their tamales are so so good and fresh, we once literally went to famers market just for that. We tried their jalapeño and pesto French bread. Delicious. Seems like family owned business. I highly recommend
