“Great tasting food, service was attentive, atmosphere/decor was great. We were told to order more food than we thought necessary, by the time we got the last dish - we couldn't finish it. Unfortunately, they packed it up in such a small container that you could tell half of the curry was thrown out! Recommend to use a bigger container!“

“I really loved the restaurant and it’s food taste. They have buffet and alakat style.I really enjoyed nonveg buffet especially dosa and fish.Biriyani and other foods could be improved. **No taste**Worth for its money and an atmosphere is simply best. You should give a try and give a thumbs up if u like my review.“

“Tried this new place out. We had the all you can eat lunch special. There were definitely some pros/cons.The pros were: excellent food (especially the butter chicken), great naan! Price was reasonable at $19 per person. Easy to park with no extra cost. Dessert was good but they only had a fruit salad NO sweet rice or NO gulab jamun (which I normally looooove to eat at other Indian restaurants). Good service, the waiter was kind. The cons: the atmosphere could have been more upbeat, it was very quiet (no music playing), they ran out of the dish we loved so we had to wait an extra 15-20 minutes before they brought more out and the rice was limited; I think we could have asked for more but we ended up just using what they gave us.“

“Food is absolutely delicious! The staff & service are really good! I imagine precovid it was a restaurant with some ambience but it's just a bare bones place now that seems to do a ton of takeout. Definitely try if you have not! The food will not disappoint!!“

“This Indian restaurant located in Culver City 90230. The couple running the restaurant are very nice. The prices and portions are on point. All dishes including the appetizers are delivered on an outside patio. No indoor tables except one table.“

“I Love Bombay Tandori. It's one of our favorite restaurants. The butter chicken and chicken skewers are my favorites. Everything is very delicious and it's hard not to over order. Often we do and just take home leftovers, which are just as yummy the next day. Everyone is also very friendly.“

“Started with the papadum and pakoras (not pictured), both were delicious and recommended. For mains, we had the chicken tikka methi and vindaloo, which came with a large plate of basmati rice. Both dishes were fantastically flavored, and the portion sizes were very large which made the prices reasonable. The vindaloo was not as spicy as I have had elsewhere, but the flavor made it one of my favorite vindaloo dishes that I have tried. We got the garlic naan. I would have preferred an option of a variety basket of naan, instead of paying for each type individually, which would be a lot of bread. We will definitely return.“

“Indian food is my favorite food so I am very picky about it. I love this place! The food was so good and I am so happy now that I found this place. I got chicken Tika masala (medium spicy) with garlic and plain naan. This meal took back to the first time I ate Indian food. I would suggest ordering extra naan I always do.“

“Been to this restaurant 2X already. Love the food here. If you are looking for authentic Indian food I would recommend going to this restaurant. A Nepali family runs this restaurant and they were really nice. Great customer service. Their portion of food was very good. I would recommend trying out their chicken momos and get it spicy. Absolutely delicious. We would definitely go there again.“

“Don't miss out on this hole in the wall tasty Pakistani and Indian Halal cuisine. Despite having three signs displayed in front of their building, it's really easy to miss because it's located on PCH, unless you happen to stop because of the nearby traffic lights. I'm always looking for mom and pop businesses to support and happened to be in the area and saw this spot. Prices are very fair and portions are generous. They even have lunch specials that are available from Tues-Thurs and other daily specials that you don't want to miss. They have plenty of indoor space and even have a gorgeous outdoor patio seating. Unfortunately, it was quite hot that day so I opted to sit indoors.|| L O C A T I O N / P A R K I N G ||-Closest cross streets are PCH and Appian Way-Parking is available in the rear. You want to turn into the entrance as soon as you pass by the nail and hair salon. We passed by it thinking that we could just park in the next available entrance but that was not parking for that plaza.-Came on a Friday at noon and the lot was probably 70% full.|| F O O D / D R I N K S ||Mango Lassi ($4.00) - So smooth and delicious. Not too sweet!Potato Samosa ($4.00/4pcs) - So crispy and pairs super well with their green sauce! They also offer beef samosas but I wanted to try something without meat since my main dishes were heavy on meat.Chicken Tikka Masala ($13.99) - A classic Indian dish that I always order. What I liked about theirs was that it was so creamy and flavorful. We opted for a mild spice level and it was perfect. If you want to go for a spicier kick, medium would be a spice option to go with. Like many Indian restaurants, it doesn't come with rice or naan and will have to be ordered separately.Garlic Naan ($2.99) - Garlic Naan is always a must for me. Theirs was freshly made and the most fluffy naan that I've ever had. Do yourself a favor and make sure to order extra because one order is not going to be enough for two people. I made sure to order one naan for each person in my party.Special Chicken 65 ($15.99) - Decided to try something new and saw that many fellow Yelpers posted about this. It's chicken mixed with tangy and garlic sauce. The tanginess isn't too strong which was perfect for me. It pairs extremely well with rice or naan. Definitely recommend it if you're looking to try something new.Lamb Pulao (FRIDAY SPECIAL $14.99) - Our server recommended this daily special dish and since we were a fan of lamb, we decided to go for it. The portion is extremely generous. You can order one for yourself or share with at least one or two other people. Since it comes with a large portion of rice, I ended up saving some of that rice to go with my chicken tikka masala. Usually with lamb, there is a certain smell/odor that I don't like if it's not cooked properly but I was so pleasantly surprised that I could barely distinguish that odor. The meat was so tender that it came off the bone pretty easily.“

“April Food Explorer club wanted to learn about Indian food and culture. So we headed to India Sweets & Groceries. Our group of four loved it. This was the first time for some of them to try Indian food. This is a simple Indian grocery store and we enjoyed looking at the foods available to take home and cook with. Snacks looked great! There are a few tables between the buffet and the grocery aisles. The People serving our food were helpful and supportive as we asked lots of questions. They explained things to us. The customers were also kind and helpful and shared their suggestions for what to order. Some of our favorites were the rice, samosas, Dahi Vada and Palak Paneer. You can not beat the price. We had more then enough food for four people and it was $30.00. This place is not fancy but great for great food and family friendly. We will all return on own and look forward to sharing this treat with our friends.“

“All vegetarian Indian cuisine, ready-made, and delicious! We got two entrées each, plus soup, and either chapati or rice. The jackfruit had great texture, and the sauce was good. The pho – chicken meatballs were amazing! Chickpeas were really good, as well as the mixed veggie. The soup was a little bit spicy, perfectly balanced!“

“I drive by this place all the time as I only live a few blocks away. I was craving Indian food so I decided to give this spot a try and the fact that they sell pizza drove my curiosity even further. I ordered a Chicken Tikka masala pizza which was absolutely amazing, highly recommend that! I also ordered butter chicken, chicken Tikka masala, garlic naan, rice, and samosas for me and my family to share. The butter chicken was my 2nd favorite item I ordered. So delicious and they give you a good portion of chicken in it. I even put some of the sauce on my pizza to make it taste even better. The chicken Tikka masala that I ordered in the side tasted really good too but it was light on the chicken which was disappointing. Everything was pretty good, except the samosas. They weren't bad I just felt they were a bit on the bland side, the sauce they gave me on the side helped it out. I would highly recommend this spot to anyone who loves Indian food!“

“I don't know why I've taken so long to review this restaurant. I come here multiple times a week. Their food is amazing. It's consistent, it's delicious, it never disappoints. I'm Indian myself and I've eaten at a lot of Indian spots, I'm talking a lot. From fancy over priced places to hole in wall random spots. LA Indian food is pretty on point but I will confidently say Tandoor-A-India one of the best spots in all of LA. It's very good. If you're in the area, or not. GO! 10 out of 5 stars. The best. Well done!“

“We order delivery from this place regularly. The food is very good and delivery is reasonable. We ordered delivery through their website app using iPhone (iOS). Unfortunately, the app is terrible and you can’t login and have to check out as a guest every time. I hope they look into correcting this soon as it would be great to build points with them because we are regular customers. It’s just a minor inconvenience and we will continue to order delivery from this wonderful place in the future.“

“I tried their food last night for the first time. It was excellent. I had the Mulgatani Soup, Chicken Zalfrazi and Alu Vindaloo. So good and even better the next day. I wished I had ordered more Naan as the sauces are so good to dip in.“

“Second time to Al Watan. You don't come here for the ambience or service but for the food. Overall I would said the food is good as we tried the different number of dishes. We tried the tandoori platter, samosa and lamb and chicken briyani. It was an enjoyable meal especially with 6 of us sharing the meal.“

“I took our family there for dinner with Groupon. We aren't familiar with Indian food. Everything we ordered was good. Very delicious and inexpensive. We ordered samosa and fries with mixed veggies, Butter chicken, eggplant, spanish with cheese, teki kabab, veggies basmati, nan, roti, and rice pudding. However, we don't really like Indian beer and Indian ice tea. The mango smoothie was good. I gave 3 stars for the atmosphere because they don't turn on the air conditioner in the summer. It was very hot. We are eating and sweating.“

“We got to meet Juan! He is amazing! Not only did he make us feel so welcome. He broke the menu down for us and showed great hospitality! One top of that the tacos, pastor and asada (what we've tried so far) are truly out of this world! Salsas made in house. & they cater! We will be back.“
