“Sonora location. Tried when first opened and few weeks ago. It was clean (new) and great service. Re-visited yesterday and totally the opposite! Counter was dirty, all food was low. It was 4 o’clock and not busy. The cook, other gentleman and waitress was very unprofessional and unsanitary! The cook, yes while wearing gloves, continued to touch dirty services and our food. At one point he had his cell phone in his hand looking at it while cooking our food. Phone back in dirty pocket, touching his hair then back to cooking our food! The conversation between the three of them were load and unprofessional. I was so ready to leave! Definitely won’t be returning anytime soon.“

“I was looking to for a place that serves tri-tip sandwiches. Often most places don't serve great sandwiches. I was impressed by how amazing my tri-trip sandwich came out. The bread on the outside was crispy. The meat was flavorful. My wife loved the bread on her chicken sandwich. We will be coming back for more.“

“Place looks run down and looks like it’s closed but it’s open. Last we went I was charged for having the bartender make my drink right as it tasted different. “Just left this place and let me tell you….. 5 STARS! not sure if it’s family owned or not but they sure did make us feel like family. My girlfriend and I did a takeout order and when she was walking out she accidentally dropped it. The people inside saw this and IMMEDIATELY started making another one before they even came out to us. They came out to let us know they were making another one and made us feel so much better. The young girl in the front even came to clean it up right away. THIS is how you run a business. Hands down the best service ever!!!!!“

L&L Hawaiian Barbecue in Riverbank offers some truly delicious food that hits the spot! The flavors and quality of the dishes reflect the charm of Hawaiian cuisine, making each meal enjoyable. I particularly appreciated the variety on the menu, which caters to different tastes and preferences.

However, I did encounter a small issue during my visit. The young guy at the cashier spoke very softly, and I found it difficult to understand what he was saying. It would greatly improve the experience if he could speak a bit louder, as clear communication is key when placing an order.

Despite this minor setback, the overall experience was positive, and I would definitely recommend L&L Hawaiian Barbecue for its great food. If they can address the communication issue, it would make the dining experience even better!“

“The servers are always courteous, always ready & willing to please, management checks in on guests , food comes out in a timely manner & most always the servers seem to work there and are smiling. Other restaurants could learn from them for sure!! Great tasting food, healthy portions to where we always take home, a variety of food for everyone’s different tastes & great tasting drinks.“

“We recently celebrated a few birthdays here, and every time was great. For a party of 8 we spent about $135 with purchasing drinks as well. So under 5 is free. After 3:30 is all you can eat I’d recommend going at these time. You basically choose from a buffet of meat, and vegetables they cook it for on a high wok it’s worth it!! And with my daughter being sensitive to shrimp, they cleaned the wok every time, and we’ve had no reactions like with other places!! They do delivery with DoorDash, but they stay packed cause the food is amazing!!!“
