“WOW!
I've attempted to come here a few times not realizing it was during the midday close, however today we came for dinner. I am so glad we did. The service was exceptional and thoughtfully attentive but not overbearing. The pan fried gyozas were delicate and flavorful. The spicy edamame were the most flavorful and well balanced I've tried in town(and I've tried them all). I got the (haha) Dirty old man roll and every bite was delicious and well rounded. The miso soup was perfectly hot and the hot sake was filled to the brim. All in all an absolute pleasure of a dining experience. 10/10 my only regret is not coming here sooner.“

“I've come here with nearly everyone in my family and friends, and each time everyone loves the place!
The sushi has funny names that my nephews like and they come out great each time. Personally, I don't eat sushi, but I like to treat my family to it. Thankfully this place also has non-sushi options!! :D I get the beef bento box and it's really good. The restaurant is small but it does get busy fast so make sure to come at a good time.“

“Great vibe….. went for lunch and can se dinner would be a blast here. Sushi was epic and I recommend the plum Sake. Dragon roll good heat and the Nigiri was on point…. Fresh and flavorful. Been ordering door dash from this restaurant… no more…. Eating inside for now on.“

“This sushi restaurant is high quality! I ordered the seaweed salad and it had just the right amount of texture and flavor. The gyōza was good but the dipping sauce saved it. I got the golden dragon roll and I was pleasantly surprised. The fish was fresh and the spicy mayo was tangy. The fried squid was chewy but crispy.“

“I went here expecting budget-friendly sushi and that’s what I got. Similar to Safeway sushi where the cuts of fish are thinner than usual. The rice with the nigiri tasted strongly of rice vinegar.
The next plate we got was Teriyaki Combination Plate. The flavor of the noodles was excellent although the chicken texture was pretty dry. I wish the portions were bigger.
Overall, I would stick to the plates and not go towards the sushi. It’s best to go to a dedicated sushi restaurant for that part.
I wish they were open on weekends! I’m sure most of the business would come from those days.

“My husband and I were just shopping in Turlock looking for something new to eat and this place came up. The lady was so nice ! They have a variety to choose from, noodles, rice plates, sushi rolls (huge btw), and all the snack/appetizers sounded so good.We ordered drunken noodles, the katsu plate (the gravy is hella good), and the deep fried roll. We loved every bite. And the portions are generous. Will be back on our next Turlock run :)“

“Great sushi, price inline with other places. But waitresses need to check in on the table a little more and avoid texting on their phones when there are customers. Not saying the waitresses aren’t nice and friendly. Overall l this is my favorite sushi restaurant.“

“Whenever we are in Modesto, this is our favorite Poke Bowl place. The employees are always quiet but pleasant. The food is terrific; we wish they gave the option to hand mix it. We often struggle to combine the bowls because of the amount of food in them. The fountain drinks seem to always be on the flatter side. There are about three groups of 4-person tables and one two-person table near the window. It's a simple, self-serve dining experience.“

“Amazing egg rolls and combo plate. When we went there last night the owner greeted us took our order and made our food.
He told us he has been there for 37 years. We were truly surprised with the 1st bite of the egg roll. My wife said they were the best she has had. I would have to agree. After that we enjoyed our combo chicken plate which was also amazing!! Their prices are also really good too. Will definately be back!!!“

“Stopped in here yesterday after seeing this pop up online, and I'm glad I did! This might just be my new favorite sushi joint. The restaurant is super clean and has plenty of space, and I was greeted immediately upon walking in (I sat this because that's not always the case!). I ordered the garlic edamame and the Hughson Huskies roll. Both were delicious, but the roll itself was FIRE! It had a lot of flavor and was huge. I could barely finish it! My server was friendly and attentive, and the food came out fast. I'll definitely be back!“
