“If you’re craving teriyaki chicken and beef, this place is it. First bite, noticed how good the quality of meat is. The prices are so reasonable and good for how good the quality is and how filling it is. I got the beef and chicken plate and I usually eat a lot, but I was so full with a quarter of it still left. This was 1000% a solid teriyaki bowl and will come back for more.“

“My husband and I where staying at the beach for our Anniversary and the Pocket was right down the street. We walked over got some burgers and drinks . “I have been to many Wabas over the past few years and this is still my preferred location. Chicken bowls are not complex and shouldn’t be that hard to deliver a solid bowl/ plate. They cook the chicken well, don’t skimp on the protein compared to other locations, and have good customer service. It’s also clean, solid music lol and overall a decent spot for a quick lunch/post gym sesh/etc. I feel this place deserved a review - I don’t always have time to make them but here n there I’ll make time for the worthy ones.“

“We stopped by Sushi On Fire in Huntington Beach for lunch and it was an amazing experience from start to finish. The sushi was incredibly fresh, beautifully presented, and some of the best rolls we’ve had in a long time.

We ordered several different items including a Jalapeño Roll, a Seared Albacore Roll, Spicy Tuna Crispy Rice, and a tuna sashimi style plate, and everything was fantastic. The flavors were incredible and you can tell they really know what they’re doing with their sauces and preparation. Every roll had its own unique taste and was perfectly balanced.

The wait staff was outstanding friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better.

One of the coolest parts is that their patio is dog-friendly, so we were able to bring our Pomeranian with us to lunch, which made the day even more enjoyable.

Great sushi, great service, great atmosphere. If you're in Huntington Beach and looking for excellent sushi, Sushi On Fire is definitely worth a visit.

“Let me tell you when your roommate has a craving for late night Asian style food and wanted to be healthy, this is where you go. I was so lucky I got the white meat bowl with white rice and five potstickers I only managed to save a bite for myself so I could tell you how delicious it actually was my roommate had to enjoy the rest but for less than $15 to get both an hors d’oeuvre and a main course? This is got to be the place to go the store was exceptionally clean and both people that work there were extremely helpful and very funny. !Hats off to this Waba Grill!!“

“The first time I went here I would give it 5 stars. I went between lunch and dinner so it was quiet and calm. The food and service was amazing. The fooooodddd yum yum yum. However in my later visits the food has not been so amazing. Still good but not super super delicious.
If you go when it's busy, it can be chaotic in there. But it's cuz it's a small place and it's popular.

“This is our Thai Cuisine spot for our Family of 4. We love the explosive flavors and the freshness of the vegetables and protein. We especially like the seafood green curry , the pineapple fried rice their salads. The presentation of the dishes are so nicely done.

“The best shu-shi in town. Even though it's a Shabu Restaurant, it's rolls are the reasons we coming back again and again. The meats and soup are also good and plenty of choices of veggies complet the meals. Service is no complain either.“

“Came when it wasn't busy. Shared a large poke bowl between the 2 of us which was plenty of food. We ordered salmon, tuna, albacore, and tempura shrimp as our proteins and liked that they offered seaweed salad, mango, mandarin, tamago, edamame, ginger, smelt egg as toppings.
It was a little warm when we stayed indoors to eat. They also had outdoor seating.“

“I had a great experience at Kung Pao Bowl, and it’s one of those places that does the basics right without trying to be something it’s not.
The teriyaki chicken was the standout for me. The chicken was cooked properly, not dry, not rubbery, and the teriyaki sauce had a solid balance of sweet and savory without being overpowering. It actually tasted like it was made to complement the chicken, not drown it. The portion size was generous, filling without feeling sloppy or excessive, which matters if you actually want to enjoy the meal instead of pushing food around the bowl.
The egg rolls were exactly what you want them to be. Crispy on the outside, hot and flavorful on the inside, and not greasy. You can tell when egg rolls have been sitting too long or rushed, and these weren’t. They were fresh, crunchy, and satisfying from the first bite to the last.
The atmosphere deserves credit too. Clean, comfortable, and relaxed. Nothing loud or chaotic, just an easy place to sit down and enjoy your food. “Food seems to be always fresh and customer service is great. I usually ask for extra rice because I love the rice much more than the meat. I'm not a meat lover because I've had problems with my bite but the rice is so on point with teriyaki sauce and green onion. I miss the orange pieces that they used to serve when they first opened in the city of orange off Chapman/ prospect Blvd in 2011 next to stater brother but that okay nothing stay the same forever. “Went here for something different. Got the spicy chicken bowl with veggies and rice. It made for a nice lunch. Service was fast and efficient. The chicken was nicely flavored but not well cut or trimmed with a few pieces of gristle. There was way more rice than veggies but overall it was filling. I would return for a non-sandwich lunch.“

“My daughter and I have been on a teriyaki spree during our trip, so we decided to give this place a try. The online menu doesn't show everything they offer. Besides the usual chicken and beef teriyaki bowls and plates, they also have wraps, salads, and quesadillas. You can also get brunch/breakfast items like waffles, crepes, pancakes, and smoothies. A very wide range of options. The shrimp options are crossed off the menu in the store.

The lady behind the counter was super nice and patient as I couldn't decide what I wanted. My daughter got a chicken wrap, and I got a half-and-half beef and chicken teriyaki bowl. The meat was well-cooked (the beef was not chewy but very tender), but the teriyaki sauce is served on the side or on top of the meat, not seared and marinated in it. It was good but not as good as some other teriyaki places we visited, and the price was the same.

The store was very clean, and everything was made to order. There is a small seating area outside. We would eat here again if we didn't have other options.
