They usually make whole pizzas fresh. Therefore, you might waite approximately 20 minutes for your order.“

“This place is really kept up by workers. The young woman Genesis, I believe, was really on top of serving customers and ensuring the supplies were stocked and machines were running properly. She was even cleaning in between the spaces between the toppings.“

“Laveta is a super cute minimalistic cafe located close to echo park lake in Los Angeles. They have their own parking lot, which already is an A+. But since it is a small lot, there is street parking all around. They have really cool inside seating as well as outdoor seating.

They offer coffee, matcha and teas. But let’s not ignore the food they offer, which I highly recommend you try out! I’ve heard the burger is delicious but haven’t tried it because I’m obsessed with their Avacado toast! It’s literally the best Avacado I’ve had! Their coffee is good as well. I’ve had their iced vanilla latte, which you can’t go wrong with. I also enjoyed one of their signature coffee, the laveta.

“Honestly the best açaí place I’ve been to. I’m big on blue majik. I went to this other place to try açaí bowls thinking it was going to taste like the blue majik in roots and rye but it was so badddd. So hands down the best blue majik. My order is blue majik, young coconut, the vanilla granola, strawberries, banana, cacao nibs and cinnamon powder. Simple but fireee. Also I really like this place bc the toppings unlimited unlike other places :)“

“If you like taiyaki, then this is you're place. Made fresh, so you have to wait a few minutes, but it is worth it. We've tried the custard, Nutella, & red bean. All are great, but my fave is the red bean. They also have sushi & hand rolls that are delicious.
I'm not a Boba person, but I really like their's. The crystal Boba was slight chewy & a perfect fit with the Lychee drink we got.

“Swung by Oakberry hoping to relive the magic, but the açaí just doesn’t slap like it used to. The texture and flavor felt a little off — not as rich or bold as I remember. Still fresh, just not hitting the same.

But shoutout to the girl working — she was shy but really nice, super polite, and made the whole experience better. Sometimes a good vibe at the counter goes a long way. Service: 10/10. Açaí: room for improvement.“

“We ordered the plain sugwrcane and sugarcane with lime. The flavor is pretty good, I can taste the actual sugarcane, just like how we would have it in Asia in childhood. One downside is the drink is a little too diluted, would be better if they make the drink more concentrated. But overall the drinks are not bad. “The smoothie that I always love to drink is a Magic Bullet, full of organic nutrition and spirulina, a vegetable protein easy to digest... Spirulina has very thin cell walls making it a protein easiest of all proteins for the body to metabolize, very accessible for the human digestive system. “I'm so happy I had the opportunity to checkout Ubatuba Açaí in the Beverly Grove area, it reminded me of being in Brazil my favorite country to Visit. The staff Gilbert and Elany (not sure if I spelled her name right) were very helpful. And Elany the manager and most of the staff is from Brazil making it feel more authentic when you eat the food. They both helped me decide which empanada and açaí bowl to order as well as the toppings. I ordered the Beyond Philly Empanada and added the chimichurri and hot sauce which made it even more delicious. I also had an açaí bowl with granola, almonds, chia seeds, strawberries, bananas, and almond butter. It was absolutely amazing and made me feel like I was on Ipanema Beach watching the waves. Both items were very filling too, and I can't wait to come back again with my friends. There's metered parking and also seating outside perfect for a sunny day in LA.

“I bought a fruit cup at the Earth Bar in LAX because the fruit looked like there was a possibility that every piece might actually be ripe. I was pleasantly surprised to discover every piece was indeed ripe-kiwi, mango, pineapiple, and grapes. This is a first for me in mass-marketed fruit cups.“

The coffee is perfectly serviceable but not outstanding. The ginger chai was unique enough that I come back for it often. It is GINGER, like I am a south asian man and that is GINGER. Definitely worth coming out for if you like ginger.“
