Stopped here on a trip to Point Reyes and left with mixed feelings. To start, the oysters were tasty and fresh, and the bread was warm and delicious! It turned out those two were the highlights of our meal, as the two main Czech lunch entrees we ordered left much to be desired. The beef goulash had very small chunks of meat and the flavor was just ok. I agree with Dave: Stopped in for lunch on a Friday. Had an absolutely delightful experience and enjoyed the chicken paprikash, apple strudel, and, Kava mit Schlag (coffee with whipped cream and bittersweet chocolate shavings). They bake their bread in house and it was just as delicious as others have posted. Except I had an Irish coffer with real whipped cream. Next time I'll try the Kava mit Schlag.

Nothing can end a visit to the beach, than a fine dinner at a great Czecaslovakian restaurant. They've been in business in this location since 1970. That's quite a while. That was about the first time I had come here. We were greeted by the gracious Ms Vladya. Daughter of the creator. And Ms Sally a joyful assistant. We ordered the fixed menu for $31 per person.
