“I am usually so much better at capturing our meals however we were starving and here on lunch from work so I only snapped one photo.
Morelia is one of the best and most authentic Mexican kitchens in the area.
I usually get the taquitos, but decided to change it up. I got the carnitas super burrito which comes with a side of rice and beans. This was delicious and huge I was able to take half back to the office for lunch the next day.
They always start us off with a mixed basket of chips, one of the only places that offers both flour and corn tortilla chips, and a bowl of house made salsa. We ordered some guacamole as well. Delicious as always.
My friend got the enchilada plate also very delicious. The staff is always so friendly and welcoming. No matter when you come in they treat you like family.
The restaurant is small and family owned and it feels like you are going into their home with the love and care they put into their food. Its a simple decor restaurant but the food is the state.
Their garlic soup is killer.”

“We stopped by here on our way to a camping trip. It’s located just behind a gas station, so it was a little tricky to find.
It was my first time trying Texas-style BBQ, and it was absolutely delicious! My whole family loved it. The kids especially enjoyed the pork burger with its sweet seasoning, while the adults thought the beef burger with sauce was outstanding. The pickles on the side were also fantastic!
We even came back the next day to get takeout and enjoyed it at home. Just a quick warm-up made it taste just as amazing.
The staff were friendly, and the atmosphere was great. Honestly, if this place were closer to home, I’d want to come every week!”

“Crystal took her time with our group of five and made every sandwich perfectly. We all did variations of the veggie delight patty, and were delighted.
Vegetarian options: Veggie delight patty is great for vegetarians and vegans.”
“I stopped in to check out the new resort for the first time today. It is beautiful and so nice not to breathe in cigarette smoke. The air inside was fresh and the entire place was beautiful! i had a quick bite at the 209 sports bar. I had a Santa Fe Burge, sweet potato fries and a virgin bloody mary. The food was delicious, and the bloody mary was like a meal too! The views from this resort are Amazing! The bathrooms are constantly being cleaned, which I appreciate. parking was easy. a short walk. There are a few stairs, but i noticed a drop off area in the front. I highly recommend.”

“Yianni's is a long established Greek restaurant in downtown Sonora. Not sure of its backstory but it feels like a family-run business. I had a Gyro and Greek fries - both were delicious and generously portioned. Service was quick and friendly. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.”

“Got some sandwiches there today and was thoroughly impressed. Reasonably priced and they didn't skimp on anything: thick layer of meat, cheese and plenty of veggies in some good bread. If you're looking for a sandwich you'll be in luck at Goodness Cafe.”

“My girlfriend and I absolutely love sourdough bread, and well honestly, bread in general. That said, we’re always on the hunt for a good local spot wherever we go. Anytime we travel to a new area, we make a point to seek out small bakeries or mom-and-pop shops, because that’s where the real magic happens, the kind of goodies that feel like it came from someone’s soul, not a factory. That’s exactly what we found at Pence Farm Sourdough. We’ve been visiting since pretty close to their opening days, and even though we don’t live full-time in Sonora, we make it a point to swing by every time we’re in town. It’s become one of those rituals, the type of stop that you genuinely look forward to when you’re headed up the hill. The bread speaks for itself, but getting to know Jim and Sunny and seeing their family involved, at the shop and the farmers markets, just makes the whole experience that much better. It’s real. It’s wholesome. It’s local done right. As far as favorites go? Man, that’s a tough one. The Cinnamon Roll Focaccia hits so hard I’ve caught myself daydreaming about it. I could honestly eat a whole one to myself (and may or may not have tried). The Bacon Gouda loaf? Fire. That Peach Toast? Next-level. Everything I’ve had has been exquisite. Even their sandwiches are on point, I had a turkey, bacon, avocado with sprouts that was fresh, flavorful, and built just right. I was stuffed lol... The thing is, this isn’t just good bread. It’s memorable bread. It’s the kind of bread you talk about later. It’s the kind of place you tell your friends about, and then insist on taking them there. Huge shoutout to the Pence Farm family, thank you for doing what you do and for keeping the sourdough culture alive and thriving up in Sonora. We’ll definitely keep supporting and look forward to each visit. If you’re in or around Sonora, or even just passing through, do yourself a favor and stop in. You won’t be disappointed! - Shawn Hernandez”

“We absolutely love Yoshoku! We have tried several ramen bowls and love all of them. The online ordering system is easy to navigate and well designed. I would suggest for anyone new to Yoshoku if you have any questions about the spice level, please call them. For me, I like a little spice so when given the option I choose G2. So far we had the Spicy Miso, Spicy Tomkatsu, the Tan Tan, Kango, and the Light Garlic. This is our new Hot Spot in Sonora!✌️❤️”

“A no nonsense taco shop that feels exactly as you want it. From the laminent booths to the hand written specials to the board of items lit up thats a bit too old.
Price was excellent, food was great, the salsa bar was STOCKED.
I had the carne Asada plate and an al pastor taco. The carne Asad plate was large fresh and cheap. The beans and rice were as expected and the Pico de gallo was top notch.
The al pastor left something to be desired. It wasnt bad, but it tasted more like I would expect chorizo to taste. Not bad, just not the best pastor I've encountered.
Even during the lunch rush the staff was friendly and prompt.
Highly recommend for a traditional taco shop experience.”
