“The food is mostly prepackaged stuff but with inflated prices. The coffee is good. The secret menu is wonderful. Overall, pricey for what you get. 2 drinks and 2 muffins sets me back about $30 which is shocking. Starbucks is fresher but I try to support local. I wish their food was locally sourced rather than prepackaged.“

“Got some sandwiches there today and was thoroughly impressed. Reasonably priced and they didn't skimp on anything: thick layer of meat, cheese and plenty of veggies in some good bread. If you're looking for a sandwich you'll be in luck at Goodness Cafe.“

“I’ve yet to find a baked good I didn’t like here! 🥳 Amazing sweet treats along with a coffee and tea bar make this a super morning spot! As well there are healthy options here too for breakfast, though I’m often challenged not to pick the lemon rolls! And Sarah, the owner and baker, is pretty cool! 😎“

“Went to the new drive through this morning. Wonderful service, great coffee, and yummy empanadas!“
“Coffee is good but the five stars for is really for the owner Nick. He’s always friendly and willing to chat, has a real range of knowledge including some great hiking suggestions. I worked in Sonora for 2 months and made it a point to explore as much as possible, and Nox coffee was by far my favorite spot- it’s a neighborhood coffee shop at its best.“

“Baked goods are on point. Coffee is average. Tons of food choices and they are super accommodating with preferences/allergies, etc. That being said, I'm unsure if all of this was worth the 15-30 minutes I spent waiting in a long line and then for my food. Could probably easily be fixed by updating the logistics of the place (extra cashier, expedited ordering process).“
“I've been enjoying the dark oily Italian Roast from Mother Lode Coffee daily since 1998. Loved this one so much I would even drive up from the Bay Area to Sonora to buy it in the 2lb bag for a few years until i found it for sale in a couple of markets in the East Bay. One of the best 'perks' of living in the Gold Country. Highly recommended!“
“Best coffee in town, great people and do so much for all of our community . Love this place“

“Great Coffee and treats in a historic location, what could be better? We will be back“
“We were passing by on our holiday from England. We were greeted by a friendly manager. As we waited for a coffee we browsed the shop. So much to choose from especially items made by local people and also the designs from the shop owner. Lots of goodies to take back to the UK. Highly recommend a visit if you’re passing. Very welcoming, clean and vibrant. Will definitely visit again if we are coming this way.“

“I love the products and atmosphere, but I almost always order a refresher with NO ICE ahead on the app, but when I get there and receive the drink, there’s ice. And Today, August 16th of 2025, the worker told me that I should order a smaller size and that if I ordered no ice that I ordered with no ice that I would get more product. This tells me that either the app isn’t conveying that I didn’t want ice in the first place, or some of the workers aren’t reading the app requests. Hopefully this will change in the future.“

“Fantastic bagels at a reasonable price and great customer service.“
“I tried you fresh market seafood yesterday it has a great flavor and it’s so refreshing. The only criticism I have is that there is so much celery in it . I had a half cut serving and there was almost two servings of celery. Other wise it was delicious and had a good amount of seafood in it. I will still buy it I loved it.“

“We had lunch there on 12/16 this year and it was delicious and a fun environment and experience. The Pasty, a rarity among West coast restaurant offerings, is fantastic, every bit as good as one made in Michigan's Upper Peninsula where the Cornish copper miners enjoyed a pasty for lunch. The right smell when you cut into it, the crust was perfect and the flavor can't be beat. Highly recommended.“
“I am Schnoogs newest number 1 fan!! As someone who has been gluten free for two years, I could not be more impressed with Schnoogs’ selection and variety of GF products. Hands down the best GF scones I have ever had (and I live in NYC). I’ve had the breakfast sandwich with gluten free bread twice now and it’s been amazing. Delicious GF/ vegan brownies, GF cookies and wedges (GF biscuit with bacon, cheese, chives). Sally and the entire staff have been so lovely every time we’ve been in - our new friends in town!! Couldn’t recommend Schnoogs enough! Can’t wait to come back every time I’m in town and try something new off the amazing menu.“
“Stopped by today and picked up two Pasties- one beef and one veg. They were delicious for our dinner! Also got scones and a turnover. I keep forgetting to go there but have never been disappointed. A jewel in Columbia.“

“We stopped for mcflurrys. I have to say out of all the McDonald's I've ever visited, these were the first well served oreo mcflurrys...the didn't fill the ice cream cup but it had a lot of oreos which others lack. The creaminess of the ice cream was off though. I was trying to figure out if they changed the recipe or what happed.“
